  • I love the peak design bags, they're fantastic and I think the 20litre every day back pack is the perfect option for mirrorless users. It's incredibly versatile allowing me to set up with a bag of primes for a family weekend (A7iii, 15 f2, 35 f1.8, 50 f1.8, 85 f1.8, 135 f1.8 and the 100-400, plus space in the top for 1.4x TC, a flash, batteries, laptop and camera chargers and Macbook Pro slid down the back OR a golden hour kit of A7iii mounted to 100-400with1.4x TC, A7R mounted to 16-35 f4, a 12mm 2.8 and full set of filters with room to spare).
But I just bought the Sony 200-600 and it put the cat amongst the pigeons. Will it fit in the peak design 20litre? And how is it with the 30 litre? Watch on to see how I get on.

Was wondering if my 20L everyday backpack would be enough for a 200600 lens and I found this video. Thanks for the information bro!

No worries. Sorry the quality is so poor, but useful until a proper youtuber does a more professional job :)

Thank you so much. I have the same lens with my Sony camera and I'm travelling to Africa in a few weeks time and trying to find the right backpack. I have to go with the 20 L one because of the size restriction. Now I know it fit's. Thank you thank you thank you🙏🤜🤛

Glad to be of help - have a great trip to Africa, sounds awesome (especially if you're going somewhere to use the 200-600 😊)

      Thank you 🙂
I didn’t find any better option for a backpack which is fit into the "under the seat" cabin bag size, next to my luggage. I'm going to have 3 different flights, so I cant risk it. I'm only worried about the comfort. The shoulder straps looks really thin and a bit narrow. It could be a bit uncomfortable if you carrying the actual setup+more lenses etc+water. Did you have any issues with that. Thanks

@@m3d137 comfort wise I wouldn't worry unless you're going off on a major hike. they're reasonably comfortable bags, and the bit that goes against your spine had one of those flaps so you can turn the bag horizontal and feed your pull along suitcase handle through it so it sits on the luggage as you pull it. I wouldn't let go of the handle when it's mounted like that but fine for walking with. And of course you don't need to have the camera on the bag either. Can always mount a lens and have it loose on a seperate strap over shoulder to take some pressure off the bag.
      Enjoy the adventure!

Not sure there's a tripod in the vid, but I use a few different Gitzos and a table top manfroto. The smallest Gtizo I have is the Gitzo GK1555T-82TQD and fits easily in the side (standing vertically) in the 20l and 30l. Won't quite go horizontally, but does sit nicely across the top opening of the bag and does protrude too much. The larger Gitzo I have is the GT2545T and that will slot into one of the side pockets quite nicely. It is too long to go horizontally across top of the bag, I feel I'm going to hit someone as I turn. The Manfrotto though is the MTPIXIEVO-BK PIXI EVO Mini Tripod, brilliant little thing for lighter lenses. Just pick up a small Arca Swiss clamp off amazon to replace the screw on one it comes with. Just get the lightest, smallest one you can. I've never used the PD tripod if that's what the question related to?

Thank you for the video! I wonder if the 200-600 with a camera attached would fit in the newer 15 or 20L (V.2?) everyday backpack? Cheers!

I don't have the V2 of the 20L (only the 30L), but given it only JUSTS fits in mounted to camera on the 30L, I'd doubt it very much.
