The 7” box sets always have an alternative shot from the album, usually unreleased. I love this one as the boys have swapped places and all 4 are looking at the camera.
I'm not into vinyl but I bought all the coloured singles boxes as a collectors artefact. I'm not sure about this concept of half speed remastered albums, spread over four sides of two vinyl records. It would be like listening to four singles instead of an album. After every two or three songs you have to go to the record player to turn the record over or change records. For me that would spoil the entire mood of listening to the work of art that is an album from start to finish. I think I have about ten different versions of each ABBA album on CD but lately I find myself going back to the original, unremastered first CD releases from the eighties. I guess that's how they were supposed to sound in the first place. Most remasters have not been an improvement, most definitely not the hideous 1997 remasters by Jon Astley.
I'm not a sheep and I refuse to buy reissues like this, which are just a cash grab for Universal. But hey, for those who buy the picture discs, colored vinyls and remasters, Universal loves you!
Can we stop with these 45rpm pressings. It ruins the flow of the original album, especially with groups like Genesis and Yes where the track can be over 20 minutes and then you end up with a “part 1 and part 2” situation. Almost like an 8 track.

My favourite ABBA album, but this stuff is for completists only.
I would be very grateful if you made: Abba / Ring Ring 50th Anniversary video unboxing. Thanks in advance
No bonus tracks? I'll stick with the CD.

Isn't The Day Before You Came edited on the 7" pressings?
No, there is only one 5:50 version of the song.
Underwhelmed, not even the original artwork for One of Us and Head Over Heals.. Even sounded bored unboxing them!
The singles are the original Polar Music Swedish sleeves. Epic Records in the UK created different sleeves in 1981/92.
@@the.iancole Ah, that would explain it then, thanks for clearing that one up for me
Our nick' could get confusing...
