WoW! Well, what can one say. Those are beautiful! I noticed the picture discs don't have that large space for the lead out groove. Cool. Beautiful video! Thank you!! Oh and thanks for those spins as well!! :)
Good catch! I had to go back and have a look since that completely went by me and yes, the grooves on the picture discs are wider overall, which is great. Too bad they couldn't have done that for the regular vinyl. Thanks for the kind words!
Excellent presentation!Marvelous"radiophonic"narration!Exceptional commentary with your notable voice! The last section "Additional thoughts" moved me a lot.Every single word you mentioned was so impactful and accurate.Nothing to change or even dare to touch! You justified everything with your well intented discription.Made me see the album in a different light. This aspect of yours MUST be shown to every sceptical Abba fan.And the sight of the multiple various coloured vinyl picturedisc editions while spinning on the turntable with the album front covers in the backround, is a dream sequenced pleasure.I must admit i was a bit disapointed while listening B side 1st time.Same case when i firstly got exposed to the "VISITORS' lp back then in 1981.But it became a huge grower like "VOYAGE" does now as i end up being hauntingly hooked.Unfortunately i firstly heard this on cd so it felt kinda "faceless" listening to new Abba's work in such a "blind" format..But watching YOU playng the vinyl and presenting this album the way you did, gave me reason to see it in such a positive way that made it even more impactful and clear to me.I gotta give you credit for this.(And that's from a lifelong fan)Thank you.
Thank you for those kind words, I had the same experience initially (I streamed it as soon as the clock struck midnight), and I’ve gotten so used to music being so immediate, that the layers in the song on the album took a while for me to appreciate. I’m glad I could share that experience with you.
@@flashframesidetracked1323 What a pleasant reply one year later.Seems Xmas time is also Abba time heartwarm and a chance for fans to meet again, lol!I also wannabe fair and give credit for a phrase i used in my comment 'nothing to change or even dare to touch'... This is by a fellow fan( Christiano) that has 'allowed' me to use since i loved it and discribes perfectly lots of Abba's work.Merry Xmas.
Great review i loved it nice hearing other peoples opinion so glad you loved the picture discs i love them too and the ultimate cover with all of the group on it its so wonderful to have them back!! and to sound the same vocally . simply epic.
A wonderful album , thank you for showing the picture discs i am tempted to get one now, i bought the white /orange/ yellow/ and regular black vinyl . the white is my personal favourite
You can't please all the people all the time. All you can do is believe in yourself and do what you think is right for you. Such an aknowledgement can only come with maturity. ABBA have done that. They are not doing it for the money or commecrial popularity, but for the joy of making music.
'There's even light before the eclipse'....Hats off to you sir!

"There is light even behind the eclipse."
I'm so dumb, I never got the meaning of the eclipse until now.
I have all this too i love the picture discs very much ps i loved when you flipped one disc and the other picture disc flipped over as if by magic ..
Haha, thank you, it was a spur of the moment thing but ended up working quite well :-)

How to tell by outside of the Album what color the Disc is?
There’s usually a sticker.
Is the LP 33 or 33 1/3 rpm?
LP’s are generally 33 1/3 rpm. But will often be written or said as 33 for short.
FMI and I know they recorded on Polar records in Sweden 🇸🇪but in America is this record on Atlantic Records thanks 😊
It’s released on Polar and Universal, not sure which it is in the US though, maybe have a look on Discogs.
