i must be very good at that improvisation because i can dance with a complete stranger when i am 1/2 pissed and wearing steel toe cap boots,and i have never been to a dance class

This is a really perfect performance of the so-called "Rockabilly Jive".
Being a dancer myself I use your videos as a tutorial (Just by switching to 0.75% of speed). I would like to know the names of these very experimented two dancers and where they are from. Thanks.

Why do you insist on calling Rockabilly Jive, this has nothing to do with rockabilly. Secondly, Improvisation definition : "Improvisation, in the performing arts is a very spontaneous performance without specific or scripted preparation" this early is not.
first of all, you can't judge wether its improvised or not. They are not doing any step that requires any previous aggrement so it could perfectly be improvised, most certanly it is as they are not doing anything special, but just social dance.
secondly, this is rocabilly jive.
Open your eyes, its clearly a rehearsed routine. anyone who does Dirty Dancing girl drop has rehearsed it, go and read the definition of improv. Now open your ears.....rockabilly is a form of music, not a dance, and even if it was the track is a late 50's track by Roddy Jackson, a decent commercial Rock N Roll track, popularised in Uk Rock n Roll clubs in the 80's by people like 50's flash and Tom Ingram, what it isn't is Rockabilly. Suggest you look around on here for examples of what rockabilly is, but ll give a heads up, try looking for Mac Curtis, Sonny Fisher, Presley on SUN. What pisses me off is these video's of people who do not have an understanding of the music, and go to these " Teachers invitational, Swing , Jive Rock N Roll, Shag, Collegiate, who sit around on floors whooping hand clapping, and hamming their way through routines as if they were in a hollywood musical.
