Jack Black playing a teenage girl stuck in his body in Jumanji is some peak and amazing acting.
"it's mario, luigi, and jack black" basically how everyone saw that movie lmao
My fav tidbit is that in Chinese, Shifu means master and Oogway means turtle. So their names are literally Master Master and Master Turtle.
David dang is my jesus
David’s love for the Kung Fu Pandaverse is so relatable aaaaaaaa❤ PLEASE BRING HIM BACK FOR 2 AND 3 (and 4 eventually) PLEASEEEEE
Awww ❤ Bowie on Zachs lap will never not be cute
As one of the interns from Kung Fu Panda 4, I’m so excited for this episode. I loved the original trilogy (esp the second one that was such an amazing sequel), and working on the fourth was wild and crazy and it’s a great fourth
Jack Black is Mother lmao😭 idk why but it’s so accurate? he’s just the GOAT!
Lets keep going with the Dreamworls appreciation and watch How to Train Your Dragon 😭😭
if we keep doing jack black, the jumanji sequels are also guilty pleasure
OH MY GOD.... Po literally got LAUNCHED into being the dragon warrior by fire works... And fire works are what set him down the path because of the peacock...
HECK YEAH, KUNG FU PANDA!
Just here to say Dreamworks films are so underrated and not talked about enough: Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, Road to El Dorado, Puss in Boots, etc.
Bowie was so excited for the toys!
The second film is my favorite! The villain is perfection. The story is stellar.
The ultimate Kung Fu Panda bromance trio on this podcast:
Yeah, I'm part Chinese and I went into this expecting disappointment because of how hand-wavy Mulan was with Disney with some of the details and I was blown away because Kung-fu Panda is so legit. Like zither music and like the painting aesthetics and everything is just like...wow Dreamworks knows.
i NEED an episode on Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny!!!! being a comedy musical with Jack Black credited as a producer, writer, and lead role,,, idk how y’all haven’t done it yet 😩 every song is a banger. perhaps a dedicated Jack Black month in the near future? pls i beg
Yesss! Cheaper By The Dozen was my favorite movie as a kid until 2008 when Kung Fu Panda came out & ive listed it as a favorite since!
Guilty Pleasures Podcast makes me look forward to Mondays
