  • It's a few years ago now that I went to the wonderful Norfolk Broads early in Spring with my Drascombe Dabber. I launched from Cox's boatyard on Barton Broad with the plan to sail and explore for a couple of days and camp on board. The weather was good and the broads pretty quiet with just a few holiday craft about. It was great fun and a most enjoyable experience taking me back to my youth and just having a lark about on a boat!

Hi, it was from Halfords. I tried the cheapest they had, on offer at the time for £15. It ended up being ideal with a few modifications. You need to remove the sown in groundsheet as it’s not needed.

You need a nice quiet electric motor.

That's an excellent idea Paul, and oddly enough I purchased one just a few weeks ago.

Did you cut the groundsheet out of the tent?
