This is a tribute to my musical brothers from other mothers, JUNGLE FIRE.
After checking my Shwaa Jam #1, they asked me if I'd like to jam on a track of theirs. I jumped at the chance (natch) having toured the UK with them back in 2013.
I got a vibe going on the Strymon Timeline delay pedal unit, which I bought whilst on the tour.
It seemed a fitting tribute to my memory of playing with them.

oh shit yeah
Hi, Whats your effect rack like? D you use compressors or anything else to make the trumpet sound good? THX
Hi Marius! Thank you for being interested in what I do and I’m sorry for the late reply.
In this particular video, I’n using a mixture of Ableton Live native plug ins, UAD and the Strymon Timeline..
On the dry trumpet I have an EQ8, Saturator, Corpus, UAD LA2A, UAD Oxford Inflator, AutoFilter (Follow Me preset with some tweaking), and at the end a Kuro LoFi Tape Delay plugin from the LoFi Hip Hop Live Pack.. I then ‘glue’ the dry channel with the Timeline channel with the Glue Comp, Soundtoys Decapitator, and some more EQ8 to cut the low rumble and a dip at about 2k..
I hope that answers your question
@@TrumpetTNT thanks for the input. would be dope if you did a full tutorial on your setup...not a lot of useful info out there.
@@thaddeusford Thanks for the request. I'm doing some new videos in the next few weeks so I'll do a breakdown of my setup then
