I know I’m a little late on this but I’ve been trying to go through and watch a lot of your old videos Doug, trying to catch up! lol! And that 58’ is good looking my friend! 👍 right now I’ve been working on a 50 Olds for little Charlie’s back to the 50’s build group! Great stuff Doug! Keep on building great vehicles buddy! ✌🏻

Thanks RK! -Doug

Thanks DR! -Doug
me too, love the color and whitewalls
Vaughn
Vaughn - She's a beauty in the turquoise. The whitewalls are inserts so they are foolproof! -Doug
I’m subscribed to your channel. I have the plastic lowrider version, that I’m going to be opening the doors and putting in a engine from a ‘04 ZO6 Vette. I’m also going to be doing mine in a two tone scheme.
Saltie, Thanks for subbing and for watching! -Doug
You’re Welcome.
Impressioná a carroceria ,parece muito de lata muito verdadeiro.Doug você já fez revisão em kit de réplica de tratores?
I have the kit and the photo etch kit, which has more detailed parts. I like painting my seats but the decals like great so I would use them. I purchased some OEM blue touch up paint for this year and will do a two tone blue and white exterior. Thx for the video.
CN, Sounds like a good plan, have fun! -Doug
Chip, What happened to you? Haven't heard from you in a while! -Doug
Great job again love watching ur videos keep up the good work thank again share ur videos.
Thanks Sc!
I'm a fan keep up the great work you are awesome
SW - You are too kind! -Doug
had to see if this is a chevy delray which it is so i can build this kit into one of my favorite gassers (Double X) From the Southeast Gassers Association
Hay, Glad we could help. Have fun! -Doug
Very nice
Thanks Sam -I'm glad you liked it - Doug
A best muscle/lowrider car, like this oldie car.
WC, Classic lines on that one! -Doug
Great work as usual...i didn't see the minion floor mat decals on the decal sheet!🤔
XBP, Yeah, I kinda shipped over that. Just like the custom RoR plate those are just printed on plain paper with an inkjet color printer and applied with white glue! - Doug
Magnifique !! Félicitations ...
¡Muchas gracias! -Doug
Great build, I am just starting one of these. My kit is missing the clear and red tail light pieces. Is there any way to get replacement ones?
CC, Rev 'o Germany is currently not even shipping parts to the USA. "Please note that currently no spare part orders can be delivered to the USA. Since the shipping has been stopped by the service providers. This is in connection with the COVID 19 virus."
On the other hand, you can get a built or partial from Fred's Model World or eBay. Finally, buy another kit and use some custom taillights on one or the other.
Then again you can make one from the one you have by making a mold in modeling clay using clear casting resin or epoxy glue. You can tint them with clear red paint.

Very nice work. Congrats. The windshield wipers came separated or molded in this kit? Tks
MB, The windshield wipers come molded onto the cowl. PS - please subscribe if you haven't already! -Doug
@@RightOnReplicas Sure I will
great job
Thanks RW! -Doug
Amazing work! Love the color! I was looking for this exact kit but cant find it. Looks like it has possibly been discontinued. The only kit I could find on Amazon was the Revell 1958 Impala Lowrider. Looks like the Lowrider was the previous Revell kit before this one. So I bought the Lowrider kit. Is there much of a difference between this kit and the lowrider kit? Whats the difference between this kit and the lowrider kit?
JD, This is an older issue kit and you would have to look at places like eBay or a hobby shop for it. I don't think the Lowrider kit has all the stock parts for a stock build! -Doug
What did you use for "flocking" material, and where can I get it at to use on my model floors?
JY, You can get flocking from online sources like Detail Master or you can use embossing powders from craft stores. PS, please help us reach more modelers by subscribing if you haven't done so already. -Doug
@@RightOnReplicas, I am a subscriber! Glad to be so. Been watching your videos from way back (binging).
Trying to catch up! I so look forward to each one sir. Every video I learn something new & helpful for my building!
I really do appreciate your quick response, and information! Your videos CONTINUE to entertain & inform.
Thanks and keep'em coming! I will be binge watching for sure all this weekend. It's freezing cold outside where
I live. See ya in the next video....
Thanks Jeff, enjoy! -Doug
have you built the AMT version with opening doors ?
RW, No, that would require another 6-8 hours of work! -Doug
What happened on that milky spot on the rear glass?
CC - Backseat shenanigans I'm sure! -Doug
gracias y compartido
De nada. -Doug
Hi Doug you got a how to build a White Road Boss by Amt.i would like to see the video thank you
KC, Thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep an eye out for that one! -Doug
Why don't you have a link to your store in the show notes?
SB, well, we don't have one. We just review models! - Doug
I got a question how long did it take to build the model car
SW -This one took about 15 hours. Not counting time waiting for parts to dry, etc. -Doug
Only 5 hours assembly time? Not bloody likely
RK - That's the manufacturer's estimate. Just take it with a grain of salt because that might only be "assembly" and not finishing time. -Doug
how long did it take you to build this kit .
RW, This one took about 16 hours! -Doug
it shows
I got the same car but different color
AV, you have good taste in model kits then! -Doug
Could have used Bare Metal on the interior
FRW, Yessir, there's a number of options. Thanks for the info! PS, please subscribe if you haven't already to help us reach more modelers. -Doug
