***** that's more of a corps song than one from a show. It's like "Somewhere over the rainbow" for thd cavaliers of you'll never walk alone for scouts. Something like this is kept bc of fan and Corps popularity.
@@NoName-yq2jn or you can search creep transcription on UA-cam and find the one that has the percussion parts in it. That's what I did to learn how to play the piano part
+Tael the Mask Salesman You could be drum major, or learn a brass or percussion instrument if you're dedicated enough. It really isn't as big of a switch as it seems, I guarantee there's at least a few people on each major corps' hornline, pit, and battery who started out on woodwinds and switched to brass or perc.
Admittedly I'm a huge fan of Phantom's rich Brass tradition, and living in Wisconsin I should love the scouts, but I'm falling in love with Carolina Crown and these Bluecoats. They give me chills and it's wonderful.
I was there for this! So glad someone took a video! I could literally feel the sound in every bone in my body, and the entire auditorium was shaking during the hit. Getting poured on sucked, but being able to see and hear the battery and brass perform the show, this, and a few others made it completely worth it.
I feel like every corps in DCI has an alter Ego or hidden side to them. No one likes to admit it, but, it undertones each corps; This I feel is what gives them all their unique tone...
Every time I hear the Bluecoats play or sing Creep, it brings tears to my eyes. It’s hauntingly beautiful, the way the sound wraps around you, consumes you. And I am only watching this on an iPad. Wow, if I was present in this auditorium, I cannot imagine the impact!
This just recycled back to my feed, the algorithm thought I needed some chills and this didn’t disappoint. Still one of my favorite shows from one of my favorite corps
However, playing from the soul and having every single person in a large ensemble subdividing the beat effectively and in thr same fashion, especially over a large expanse like a football field, is practically impossible. There are situations, especially in a concert rather than a marching setting, where conducting is not required. However, it's almost always needed to unify rhythmic pulse and, if the director is good, it should not negatively affect interpretation or emotion.

No one within 200 feet of that auditorium ever regained their hearing.
If you thought this was loud, you should have been at the audition camp today, 250 brass playing full out
Doug Foster OH MY GOODNESS I NEED TO HEAR THAT
@@imdefinitelynotparkermeek7923 then that will be the last Thing you'll ever hear
@@mrnoname2353 I can't think of a better way to lose ones hearing
I hope this is stapled to the Bluecoats forever.
Ohh it will be.

Oh yea, like Phantom with Forth Ballet Suite.

They didn't do creep this year though which bummed me out
opening sounds a little empty without the marimbas. but glad they're turning this into a tradition!
If I tryout and make a marimba or vibes I will ask for their music.

That must have been the loudest thing ever in that small theater.
Full volume headphone users, anyone?
Such amazing balance, control and precision with all that brass! I WILL be a part of the blue coats someday.
I'd love to be part of the Bluecoats, but I play the saxophone, so I couldn't join with it, unfortunately.

+Sorge the Magical Talking Walrus I might try that. Maybe see if I can get a trumpet or euphonium.
+Tael the Mask Salesman Mellophone is easiest switch from sax. I got it down after like, a summer
Wish i could have been in that room while they performed this

Good sound is good sound 😆. Keep the love of music
Can we just take a moment and observe the pure greatness that is The Bluecoats

that is oddly specific but i love it
I love that the picture shivers with that little contra woof at 1:14. Ugh, I love the Bluecoats so much.
tartanmusician great eye
That contra descending line at 1:03 >>>
I’ve always noticed and loved that part and I’m glad someone else noticed as-well
I have listened to creep 10 times a day for the past week and still can't get over the fact how talented they are
Who’s still watching this in 2017 and will watch it until they die.
2020
Almost 2021
Almost 2022
Watching in April of 2022!

This is one of those special videos I have to watch again every once and a while
Their tuba line looks magnificent bold and intimidating 👏👏👏
As with most of the Bluecoats work, I creamed my pants.
😭😭😭
my recommendations never let me down...chills every time

Awesome! I'm sure the audio doesn't do the performance justice.
That Mello solo though🙌 .
soli? Maybe? Idk
What's wrong with the 14 people that disliked? They don't like hearing an amazing arrangement that makes you FEEEEEEL?

*holds attention perfectly*
God these guys are absolutely insane. I was on my way to being in this DCI band, but unfortunately I can't anymore.
As a trumpet player. It makes me sad how unwell a trumpet section resonates through a room like this
The tilted horns down. Enough said.
poor contras
great i just blow out my speakers
It will forever be amazing to me that I had band concerts in that very auditorium in the same spot as the actual Bluecoats
Who else here for their daily dose of creep?
this blew out my fucking computer speakers but it was worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE 6 PEOPLE WHO DISLIKED THIS HAVE NO SOUL
I would cry if I heard this live
So beautiful
That major's got a nice shirt
I loved Brave New World lol
I may have bought DCI TOC tix purely to see them based on this YT.
13 people must really hate life if they dont love this
This is my arrangement
Those mellos sound like a midi file 😍
when your high school played this in one of their shows
Just featured on Lucifer and I knew I had to watch how it is really done.
Why is the DM Shirtless?
Because they're practicing
Cheese OnWheels because he's the DM
He’s not
It’s just the same color as his skin
Wait nvm
1000th like
yes GOD
Any other year than Felliniesque.
This version of creep would actually make Thom Yorke like the song lol; okay, maybe not, but really.
amplification killed the 16-tuba lines....
wasn’t it 2011?
Wait, that's MY old freshman building! It's gone now... Good riddance, that auditorium sucked anyway.
I just have this pet peve about how uneven the drum major directs.
The show concept was tilt....
what he said ^^
wannaplaytrmptjmu Creep was 2011 and Tilt was 2014 bro
wannaplaytrmptjmu They got the date wrong...
Tejas Hullur they still play this in 2014 BRO. *face palm*
anyone know the link to sheet music?

Am I the only Band Geek who never understood the patterns of conducting, when you play from the soul you don't need him

bluecoats 2014 was tilt. this video is titled wrong
Aaron Fausicus no, drum corps often play other songs while not playing concerts for fun, they did this rendition of creep in 2014
that makes sense

Where the drumline, as a second bass ( not for them ) I am found triggered. I'm joking gg
Stampede showband brassline did radiohead better 10 years before this.
Motion picture soundtrack.
