lucky for them i dont do that then! my first flare is always at my feet. any rogues caught by a flare in this video was on my second flare 15 sec into the duel or so. hence why there is always two flares. now admittedly i do get a few lucky flares here, but most rogues are very predictable to where they will stand so im decent at hitting them.
@@WOWSODIaine If that's the case why would you start the clip 15s into the duel? I don't understand a lot of them look like you just won't let them open.
@@AV-wn7xz i am not 100% sure you or the original commenters experience with rogues are, id assume you are both rogues based on your comments but idk how good of rogues you guys are. rogue is my second most played class, followed by paladin then mage. I have a lot of experience on a rogue. especially in vanilla. thousands of hours played duel heroing in front of orgrimmar or stormwind. that said to answer your question - 1: if i included all the stealth waiting from the rogue and druid duels this video would be 5 minutes longer of just me standing on flare and trap waiting for them to open. not ideal 2: as a hunter if you let a rogue open on you in a duel (don't start on trap/flare) you either have some nifty tricks up your sleeve (tidal charm etc) or know you are playing a very bad rogue. any rogue worth his salt can open on you in flare and trap and flawless you if they use prep. versus a dwarf you always need to use prep as a rogue to win as i can stoneform your first blind. none of the rogues in this video used prep on me and none of them caught my eye as being very good. pve players i believe as most sod players are. so yes i probably could have let most of them open on me and still won, but since i know how to play rogue i know each of them has the potential to flawless me and i am not going to let them open on me lol
@@WOWSODIaine All I know is that it's usually good mannered to let them open on you at first, like the one rouge that says "no open?" Don't take it so personal. What's the point in dueling rouges if you just hit them out instantly?
for pve or pvp? for pvp this exact setup should yield you similar results. i do run a slightly different build for pve. no lone wolf, i use beast mastery rune and run my cat pet. I use flanking strike instead of kill shot also. i obviously change up rings and trinkets for it also. but in the 4/5 4/8 combo with a decent weap - 4k-5k is easily achievable full buffed (wbs and consumes + raid buffs)
i use it fairly often, but the reality of having the movement speed from raptor and a wingclip makes it unnecessary in a lot of situations. better to use gcds on damage. but i definitely use it and speced into it because it is awesome to have when you DO need it.
i think so, but tbh melee hunter v melee hunter i think you will do better in pvp gear cause the stamina is just too strong. but for biggest damage pve gear for sure.
i like dual wield, but the pve gear all increases wyvern strike damage which you cant use as dual wield. i think having some rune moves and allowing for a dual wield wyvern strike would make it viable and is a much needed change.
Thank you for another video. Yoire good at pvp, nice to see great duels. One with the warrior was close, another with th hunter too.❤❤
yeah some very close duels in this one.
I have hunter full t2.5 with duel weapon bwl quest its very fun and strong in pvp .
Flaring rogues out in a duel the second it starts has to be the equivalent of them ambushing you once you’re tapped after killing mobs

i can't understand where im going wrong, im nearly full BiS just with a different weapon and i cant even pull 2k dps haha

Why spec into counterattack if you are not going to use the ability?

is t2.5 betther than the rank14 gear? Awesome vid btw!
