Penteli, Greece - Phantom 3 Pro Range Test - 3615 meters

A certified range test at Penteli, Greece, with a DJI Phantom 3 Pro. The maximum range was 3615 meters with 69% battery and full signal. I started after already being in the air for a whole minute, fixing some settings, with 95% battery. It seemed like I could easily make another 1000+ meters, but wasn't sure about the wind force on the way back. I returned with 48% battery. The total distance I made with this battery at that flight was 10026 meters.

I thought it (3 professional) was limited in height and distance

+Eric Beamer It's only limited in height (500 meters). Distance is limited by battery and signal level. In perfect conditions (i.e no wind and no electromagnetic interference) battery level can be the only reason you will have to decide to get it back. Keep in mind that due to different regulations between the two continents, the same drone can reach a longer distance when you fly in USA (FCC) than in Europe (CE).
