So happy I got the first year redesign of the Grand Cherokee. My 2011 with 250K kilometres has treated me well. I give her oil change every 5k, tune up every year, brakes once and regular petrol. Get 9L/100km (27mpg). The only issue I've had was the alternator fried a few months ago but other than that, solid. Glad they didn't change the design too much 🙂
I bought this Jeep equipped with the 5.7 Hemi and I love it. Traded my Charger Scat Pack for the Jeep because of the winters in Chicago and naturally my three pups need the space.
We own a 19 Limited, Hemi, 20" wheels, tow pack, sun roof. Got 25 mpg on a 3,000 round trip to Florida(17 city). People are whining about nothing new. This thing has been selling a quarter of a million units over the last several years, it's a cash cow for FCA and they won't mess with it. The GC just had a record month for sales last month. I'm a long term owner and in 10 years the salvage yards will have plenty of spare parts for these. Try that with your Audi, Volvo or Mercedes.
@@sidname9538 no it's because they sell a lot of them and they don't change much at all over many years and a lot of them are from people that can't drive he did say salvage yard duh!
I just bought a 2020 Grand Cherokee Limited X 4x4 for $41k. I could’ve got a 2021 but that would’ve been an extra $9-$10k. This had $9300 in discounts and only 24 miles on the odometer. It’s a nice step up from my 2017 Cherokee Sport and my old 2007 Liberty Sport.
purchased the Cherokee X in 2019.Blue/Gray looks really good. Has self parking. Which usually works well ,however it does bang into car in front by turning to sharply. So park it yourself. Also this Jeep x rides very hard .My past Jeeps have been Overland w/Hemi and tow package which had a much better road ride.
Vibration on my Jeep was under engineered axle 1/2 shafts. All the dealer b.s. on redoing the computer accomplished nothing (if they really did it) my fix came from another owner who had the same problem and sent me the info on the Jeep forum. Joining the forum and maybe someone knows how to fix your vibration problem. Oh yeah that’s normal to shake from 2nd to 3rd and maybe more during other shifts. It shouldn’t happen with the right quality built in.
Good evening Ben . I recently bought a 2019 Grand Cherokee Limited X and i think there is something wrong about the transmission. When shifting From first to second(not pressing the gas pedal hard) it kinds of jerks a lot, you can feel it in the whole car, now.. if i dont let go of the gas and you keep accelerating it does not happen and it shifts perfectly. The dealer says that is normal. Can you please tell me if these issue is in fact normal? It only has 300 miles. Its been a horrible experience to me buying this vehicle. They changed the transmission valve system and still the same. Have you notice that on those x limited? The Chrysler engineer said that it was normal.
Omar it’s normal, the ZF transmission doesn’t work properly at low speeds, it wants a little more gas and speed, don’t drive it like a grandpa, and it will be fine.
