Not a single character, not a single plot decision, not even a single line felt off or out of place. The performences are truly outstanding, some of the best acting in emotional scenes of the last few years just took place only weeks apart. The animation, postediting and direction are magnificent. I got pulled in so fast and so naturally, that it took me some episodes to stop resisting it. You don't get this so often, without being hit in the face after letting your guard down. Everything is exactly how it has to be and I believe everyone can feel that this is a true gem, one of these rare once in a decade phenomenons, where EVERYTHING falls into place at the same time. I feel like I had to eat terrible grub for years and now that I almost forgot, how even a decent meal tastes, you guys deliver a high quality 5 stars noble restaurant feast for just a few bucks like it was nothing.
For decades, iconic superhero #Superman is depicted as Clark Kent, the mild mannered reporter who is the saviour of humankind. Recently, he was portrayed more as an alien from another planet rather than a person. In this new series, #Superman ‘s alter-ego Clark Kent is depicted as the devoting husband, doting father raising twin teenage boys, and at times a son-in-law who is in conflict with his wife’s father. All these aspects are such a departure from what the character is known to be. From a storytelling standpoint, I felt it was risky. But somehow the show’s creators found a way to make it interesting and worthy of your time following the series. It just keeps getting better from episode to episode. Low budget production but feels like a high budget one. That says a lot!!!

Thank you Tyler for Playing my favorite Super Hero. I have always wanted Superman to find love and not be alone. This show is just what I’ve been waiting years for. 👍🖖🏽🌹👏
I love the show. I’ve been a huge Superman fan since Christopher Reeves played the character. This show still focuses on Superman but now Clark/Superman has a family. That new addition is a wonderful new spin for the character. It’s refreshing and I don’t feel like I’m watching a lot of what has been done years before. The cast, crew, writers, and director(s) have done an amazing job. The cast was put together beautifully.
I love this show, it touches on the reality of family. Not just superman. I love watching the boys connect and grow . I hope this show never jumps the shark.
I grew up with Superman comics. I have always loved superhero loved shows and movies, but with the genre saturating the entertainment scene the last few years I'm becoming more selective about what I watch. However, this show is such a refreshing take on the Superman story. Family. Brotherly love. Superman dealing with his teenage sons. Good script. As long as they keep the focus on the family this show should have a long run. Love the show and look forward to it each week.
Throughout all these years, Superman has been an alien living amongst humans. However, this show truly hits home with its portrayal of family drama and the more human side of Superman. It focuses on Clark, a loving husband, a caring father, and an all-around family guy who grapples with balancing his heroic duties and personal struggles.
I love 💕 this show because it finally shows us the true essence of Superman... We haven't had that essence of compassion and humility ever since Brandon Routh And Tom Welling hung up the cape after Chris Reeves... Personally I LOVED how Tyler explained the value of Superman being good old boy scout... I think what's really boring are those screwed up misogynists who wrongly associate Superman with an arrogant macho man bully that likes to eve tease women and flex his muscles at the side of the road...A true Superman fan is proud of Clark's noble heritage.. And the altruism humility and compassion that he stands for... I am sorry to say that Snyder never managed to pull off the true essence of Superman
@@TheRealGod18 when you resurrect the most compassionate superhero and make him look like an arrogant mindless bully then the words misogynist and macho man instantly come to mind... And no matter how much you try to twist and sugar coat it this reality will never change... Snyder's version of Superman in Justice League is a shirtless chisel chested emotionless battering ram.... I don't give a damn about him not being in his senses... But that is 'NOT' how you bring back and show a superhero who is the most humble and kind hearted member of DC...Chris Reeves the most iconic Superman said that 'Superman was a friend with a genuine love for people' where was that friend in the Justice League Snyder Cut?? What words did he speak to the rest of the League even after the end of that pathetic resurrection scene?? The Superman played not just by Chris Reeves but also by Brandon Routh and Tom Welling was always humble, genuinely modest and altruistic in his character... Even when Superman was shown on red K in those versions there was never any scene where this ridiculous shirtless macho man bullying display was ever shown... And Tyler Hoechlin's Superman has carried on with that cherished legacy that every die hard genuine Superman fan has valued very deeply over the course of history... Snyder's disastrous version of Superman who is arrogant broody and shown like someone whose looking down on the rest of his team mates when he attacks them like a shirtless frat boy is an epic fail when compared to Tyler's traditional boy scout version... Very powerful yes... But with a truckload of heart and humility... Always being so mild mannered and gentle while he's play acting as Clark... Asking the Flash to 'Please Call him Clark' when he was referred to as Kara's Super Cousin ... Telling the Flash that 'He was not the reason'! why they beat Amazo when Barry thanked him by saying that they were helpless without him to which he replied 'I seriously doubt that'.... And now Tyler himself acknowledged the fact that it was perfectly okay to go with that good boy scout version in Superman and Lois... To me Tyler is the 'real deal' the 'Perfect Superman' someone who doesn't ever give off the disdainful vibe that he's a superior big muscled being who likes to wrestle and beat up his team mates so that his frat boy fans can finally get their jollies off...
@@Stevetrevor360 youre a hypocritical reeve fanboy. When cavils supermans mind is scrambled from being ressurected thats not ok, but when reeve's superman briefly turns evil and starts harassing and endangering humans like an emo petty villian of the week thats ok? When Tyler is mind controlled and tries to kill supergirl thats ok? You mentioned superman doesnt say anything to the league, first of all he does but how do you expect him to be best friends with people he just met? Speaking of superman being arrogant and looking down remember that time reeve's superman started a bar fight for petty revenge? Remember when he threw weights on a weight trainer that could of killed him or injured him just for petty revenge? Speaking of altruism, Remember when superman gave up his powers thus damning the humanity just to simp for lois? Thats awfully superman like isnt it? Reeves, Welling And Hoechlin have all been on red K but they have 'Never' shown off their hairy chest like an overpowered emotionless macho superhero whose going after his team mates like a frat boy asshole... 2. When the true versions of Superman were on Kryptonite they were 'Taken Down' effectively and not by some lame ass 1950s house wife bullshit plea by Lois to stop Superman from acting like a shirtless macho bully... 3. When the evil versions of Superman were taken off from Kryptonite they had some good solid dialogue with their team mates and the people as an apology for what they did while 'not acting like shirtless frat boy assholes'... 4. The parents of those versions of Superman 'Never' gave them the impression that it was okay to let children drown in a bus simply because they are 'Meant For Greater Things' 🙄
@@Stevetrevor360 "never shown off their hairy chest like an overpowered macho" are you stupid? The motherbox incinerated Clark's shirt and messed up his mind. Explain how thats his fault hes shirtless and his mind isn't right when he was literally dead at the time this happened? Also why does being shirtless matter? Youre grasping at straws "They were taken down effectively...." lol no all superman have had their mind readjusted with the help of others. When weiling went ballistic, his dad knocked sense into him. When Tyler went ballistic lois and john talked sense into him. "They had some good solid dialogue...." so did you just skip the whole scene of cavil at the farm while regaining his memories? "The parents of those versions never....." parents are protective of their children and will typically do anything to keep them safe. This is common sense. Johnathan didn't say the kids should have died he said he didn't know what the right answer was. Thats a realistic answer for a parent. Who's lives are worth more, your childs? Or a bunch of random other kids? Its a grey area that Johnathan didn't know how to answer. However he did want clark to reveal himself to the world when he was ready, "fly son, its time". Side note you seem to be really hammering this "macho jerk" angle like reeve didnt voluntarily give away his powers to simp for lois and didnt pick a petty fight with people in a bar

Such a great cast and really great insight. Tyler and Bitsie have really impressed me so far as Clark and Lois. They really are a combination of several great versions of this iconic couple. From Chris Reeve/Margot Kidder, Dean Cain/Teri Hatcher, Tom Welling/Erica Durance and Henry Cavill/Amy Adams. Love the dynamic Jordan and Alex have with Inde as Jonathon, Jordan and Sarah.
Damn I love this show, already my 2nd favorite show of all time. I love Tyler as he is one of my favorite actors since Teen Wolf but he kills it as Superman. He has the best of both worlds. The hopeful optimism of Christoper Reeve and the grounded humanity of Henry Cavill. Bitise is a amazing, badass Lois Lane. The family aspect/drama of the show just feels real, and earned drama. I love how the antagonist this season, Captain Luthor is the hero of his story and I love that as it creates this big gray area in this show. Damn I love this show, keep up the good work

This show is awesome… it’s different. It ain’t about Superman or Clark it’s about Family. It’s about how Clark juggles being a husband, a father by day and night. It also shows he could never win with his kids, no matter how hard he tries. And how the kids reacted when they found out and cared even more less about him. Jordan with his anxiety and now powers. Jonathan being popular, break ups and feeling left out at home. So much and it’s great.
"...And what you use with power, that's sort of this age-old question that-- a concept that, I don't know, we really felt, um, drawn to from the-- from the get-go." Setting aside the stumbling over words, this right here is such a central theme to Superman, that the movies have done a really bad job of understanding. It's not about power. It's about choices. Choosing kindness over selfishness, optimism over cynicism, love over hate, carefulness over carelessness, help over attack, etc.. Power affords Superman the ability to make those choices in situations most wouldn't have the opportunity to. It also affords powerful villains that same freedom, and the contrast is in what choices they make.
Smallville has always been my favorite show ever since I first saw it as a kid so I'm glad someone who has experience working on Smallville is making Superman & Lois and I'm glad he chose to use Smallville as inspiration for Superman & Lois. My love for Superman & Lois rivals my love for Smallville.

Such a shame that the interviewer devoted so little time (only 1:30min) to Adam. His character was outstanding and Adam nailed it! Such an underrated actor.
Like elizabeth said, the show’s enjoyable because of how relatable the non-superhero events are, and I think that’s what makes superman so awesome, you know he’s an alien but he feels so human. If henry cavill ever comes back as superman, Todd should make the movie
I love all their praise for the writers. It wouldn't be as interesting as an origin. Smallville happened! It happened for ten years. We get his origin. Seeing Clark and Lois trying to navigate being parents is so interesting.
Agreed. It wasn't exactly a great interview as most of the questions are pretty basic cast-and-crew type of questions. But they were enough to give us all more of the cast. I think the interviewer should have been sensitive enough to include Adam in the conversation more. While I understand that at the time of the interview, Morgam Edge's character arc was still a bit of a mystery but that could have been used to get him involved in the discussion a bit more. I would have loved to hear more about his thoughts on the character and his impact in the overall storyline. Other than that one question thrown his way, he was pretty much ignored all throughout. 🤷♂️

Such a good show. Hopefully they maintain the quality for season 2 and it airs without the long breaks.
Low budget production? I guess you didn't see "HBO Max" with it. Trust me. It HAS budget!!
Why is Tyler still in character instead of speaking in his native Australian accent
@@oosiee7550 yeah and the best thing about it is Tyler's show and we don't need Melissa Benoist to drop in for a cameo it don't even mention her name it don't even mention Supergirl this show is in a different timeline and alternate reality when she do not exist and that's the best part about it because we don't need that foolishness hey Melissa stay the f*** away from this set security will escort you off the set don't try to speak to Tyler this is his payoff for being on your crappy ass show a feminist bra burning of the week episode
@@oosiee7550 first airing is on The CW which does not have the luxury of getting a budget a HBO show would. Superman & Lois is a CW show. My statement means that if you have little money but still can look grand, that means the production pours their HEART and SOUL into it. Does not treat it like just a regular job.
@@feris33 Supes and Lois isn’t technically cw show
broooo this is the best adaptation of Superman In decades. Tyler is the perfect superman. And the quality of the show is breathtaking. Can't believe it's a CW show lol. lets hope they don't fuck it up
Thank you Tyler for Playing my favorite Super Hero. I have always wanted Superman to find love and not be alone. This show is just what I’ve been waiting years for. 👍🖖🏽🌹👏
wow, Tyler(an actor) understands the point of superman more than Zack Snyder( a professional director and writer). fuck the DCEU superman.
Alex is so excited it's kinda cute lol
It one of my top new favorite show and I love the cinematic look and the storylines
Most Definitely, bro! Fantastic cast, writing, directing, everything; I love the cinematic look too. :)
Man I did not care for Tyler's superman.
But with him being in the spotlight and the better writing.
Tyler proved me wrong.
Same. I loved Tom Welling and Brandon Routh. Tyler is so different. But I like him now.
Not gonna lie this show is really good it really gives me the superman feels from back in the days just amazing.
It's Not an Interview Without Saying "You Know"😂
I love 💕 this show because it finally shows us the true essence of Superman...
Wait a minute. Who the hell ever thought of Superman being an arrogant misogynist eve teasing women on the streets in the first place??
Meanwhile cavil sacraficed his life for the planet.
Side note while cavil has never been shown to look down on the justice league, you do realize the animated version did initially right?
@@elijahlee3610 For the record I am proud to be a Reeves fan boy because he is literally miles ahead of the pathetic 180 that was done on Cavill's version... And to answer your absurd comment...
Youre grasping at straws
"They were taken down effectively...." lol no all superman have had their mind readjusted with the help of others.
Tyler is better than Henry Cavill as Superman...i would like 2 see him in mainstream DC Superman movies.
He is good but, not better than Henry Cavill, who got screwed by the DCU btw.
13 episodes later, it still has the same energy.💙
cw mustve taken all the other cw comics shows best writers and put them on this show cuz this show is doing everything the way we wish the other comic shows would do. they have emotional scenes but also allow some superhero action happen. please cw and wb let the other superhero shows do this well too. lois and clark still feel like a couple even with quaratine restrictions. clark is allowed to use his powers to defeat foes or save lois if she needs his help.
I like the idea of a black lex luthor even though this guy is not lex luthor he's lex luthor from an alternate reality and it has worked beautifully because this guy is not a genius he's a military guy unliking Supergirl with that a black Jimmy Olsen I didn't like the actor at all always clean his f****** throat before he spoke and all that b******* the idea of a black Jimmy uso just in translate in this case a captain lex luthor does translate but the most beautiful part is we don't have to put up that foolishness from Supergirl and Melissa Benoist has not been invited thank goodness we don't need that s*** here
@Its_Frwzen I don't care I wanted to believe? But the fact that he was banging an alternate reality Lois Lane well now that makes it interesting looks like Lois Lane is in love with that chocolate a white woman's kryptonite black chocolate is their weakness what a shame he lost everything his daughter his wife him and Lois produced a beautiful daughter
@@joejose8433 As much as I agree that making a Luthor black is pandering, and as much as I know he's actually Steel -- you're talking like a racist idiot and should maybe re-think where you're coming from.
John Henry Irons:
This is how you build a character and keep it entertaining! 👏
Hope we see more of him, but considering he is still out there we might.
Man... this cast is so good and the writing is so amazing! I'm so happy I started watching this!
This show is so good, Man of Steel is my favorite Superman movie. And this show really feels like that movie, and I think it works!
Beautiful wonderful show, absolutely great show, easily the best superhero show. Great relatable characters, No mindless action and unnecessary explosions. Tyler is a great Superman, his fan since Teen Wolf. Elizabeth Tulloch is a wonderful Lois, fan of her since Grimm. Hope many more seasons to come.
Damn I love this show, keep up the good work
I like how the boys are more scared of Lois when she’s mad then Clark
It's such a good show new favorite for sure
When I first saw Wol’e Parks, I thought he was lead singer of Seal. He looked so much like him. Thank you for bring us Superman & Lois. Everyone is doing such a wonderful job. I look forward to Tuesday nights. And Thank you all, (The cast & crew for working so hard to bring us this AWESOME show.
26:01 When Superman fights a demon (evil spirit)
Just finished watching season one! This show is soooo goood needs to be promoted more
I am loving this show so much. I was teary eyes in last night episodes.
Why the hell , they're exactly same as the one I watched on the show ,, i love them
I love this show. I thought I'd hate it and promised myself I'd never watch this. But the pilot was so good and now I'm a fan. Great job guys
Love this show so much, love the cast. I have watched each episode at least twice...amazing. My favorite superman.
Amazing series. Brilliant family viewing & Superman has so much more depth than his film counterpart
I guess they got a little taste what was like in Smallville, they also focused on family and was a success
This is my Favourite Show! Loving the storyline so far! Can’t wait to watch the next episode! Thank You all for the wonderful conversations! ❤️❤️
"...And what you use with power, that's sort of this age-old question that-- a concept that, I don't know, we really felt, um, drawn to from the-- from the get-go."
Setting aside the stumbling over words, this right here is such a central theme to Superman, that the movies have done a really bad job of understanding.
Excellent show. Movie quality writing, acting, visuals and sound.
Best show by far I couldn't get into any of the other cw shows. This is perfect
This is awesome! Hope Superman &!Lois continues for years to come!!!!
Fantastic cast! Lovely folks! Loving the show!
Great show
Love the cast .
I keep getting distracted by Ty, Alex and Jordan❤️❤️❤️
Adam Rayner named one of my fav movies Conspiracy it is very good
truly one of the best shows out there + what an amazing cast ugh
We need more episodes
It’s a great great show written with a lot of heart
Smallville has always been my favorite show ever since I first saw it as a kid so I'm glad someone who has experience working on Smallville is making Superman & Lois and I'm glad he chose to use Smallville as inspiration for Superman & Lois. My love for Superman & Lois rivals my love for Smallville.
Man this show is sooo good it is just mind blowing
Really love this show! It’s one of my new favorites❤️
The show is amazing! I love the family drama! Best show on The CW
I can't believe how good Adam Rayner looks.
So frustrated that this show is not out in the UK, grrrrrrrrr!!!!
Nikita and S&L = best shows on the CW ever.
Love the show keep up the great work. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I really think All the panal of superman and Lois lane was incredibly awesome I really think it's the best character on the cw tv show is terrific ever I really hope they will be extremely with the writer and Crew and products and the rest of the team doing a terrific job love it
Whooaaa David Ramsey directed 7?!! Nice! Aaaaaaaand he's back?? So we have a Green Lantern then. 😎
Not quite.
Such a shame that the interviewer devoted so little time (only 1:30min) to Adam. His character was outstanding and Adam nailed it! Such an underrated actor.
HUGE SPOILER ALERT: This show is still dope. 👍🏾👍🏾
I am hooked, in love this
I love lois so much she’s so inspiring and so cool😭
Like elizabeth said, the show’s enjoyable because of how relatable the non-superhero events are, and I think that’s what makes superman so awesome, you know he’s an alien but he feels so human. If henry cavill ever comes back as superman, Todd should make the movie
Such a well done show.
i love this show
OMG DIGGLE IS COMING WILL WE FINALLY HAVE ANSWERS TO IF THEY ARE ON EARTH PRIME OR NOT!
Super loved the vibe! They are genuinely excited about the whole thing.
P.S.: Bitsie feels like a boss.✌️
I love all their praise for the writers. It wouldn't be as interesting as an origin. Smallville happened! It happened for ten years. We get his origin. Seeing Clark and Lois trying to navigate being parents is so interesting.
I still keep seeing Tyler as the teenage neighbor on 7th heaven
Love this show.
Adam Rayner is my idol from Indonesia
Any chance of a season 2 round table? Love this cast & show.

Great series. JHI was an unexpected shock. I would love to see Diana Prince... We can dream. Where's Pete Ross? Keep up the great work .
Could have had more questions for Edge. I don't even think he answered the last question. Still great interview though.
Tyler 😍😍😊🤗🤗👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
