You need to hear Sissel sing: Going Home, I'm Ready to Go Home and Pie Jesu. Her voice is so pure.

I watched your reaction so often now and I still love it. You were so touched by Sissel's performance (a real spiritual experience) and shared your honest emotions and thoughts with us. Thank you for that!
Sissel and Enya are one of the most beautiful female artists and vocals of all time ;)
Please make some reaction videos of the beautiful ENYA - another light or angel. For example one of her latest songs: "SO I COULD FIND MY WAY" from Enya. I highly recommend it to you and I am sure u will love it. To see u reacting to it would be so wonderful ;)

For faith & praise songs you have to search long to find better than Sissel. I think her secret apart from her good soprano voice, is her sincerity. She believes in what she is singing about. And she chooses these songs carefully. In interviews, she talks about her upbringing, walking the hills with her family on Sundays experiencing creation and by inference, her worship was not confined to within buildings. There is something intrinsically good about her that shines from within. However, she has always denied being angelic in her own nature and is basically a humble, non-diva.

Barely even a breath as the spirit was so strong in this room.

Nice reaction. If you have seen the movie Titanic you have heard Sissel before, she is the haunting voice that made the movie. Knight of the 1st Class in the Order of St. Olav Lady Sissel Kyrkjebø has been called the national threasure of Norway for over 3 decades. She is one of the best female crossover sopranos in the world ( if not the best ), and she have a crystal clear voice. As we listen to this great sermon via music . . . The Spirit whispers to each of us that this is truth, God will speak to each of us. We MUST be still to hear Him because the world is noisy and desires to run interference. This song came out to us shortly before the pandemic hit each of us. This truly IS one of the greatest messages for us to hear . . . And believe ! The Bridegroom Cometh

Well to be an athiest and claim there is no God you'd have to have infinite knowledge and know everything there is to know..but if you can come to realize that you don't know everything then you'll convert to being agnostic..because you just don't know for sure with every fiber of your being do you? I would tell you that a painting is evidence of a painter even though you haven't met or seen the painter..creation is evidence of a creator. God bless you 😊❤

When you are looking for words to describe her, attractive may be the word.. She has beautiful facial features and the voice of a woman and that of an angel. This is a gifted woman, from wickipedia; "Her musical style ranges from pop recordings and folk songs, to classical vocals and operatic arias." Seek out her Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on UA-cam.

Can't believe you've never heard of her. I've been listening to her for over 30 years. She's not a gospel singer even though this is in front of the Morman Tabernacle. She's a crossover Soprano that sings a lotta different areas except country & Jazz. She has an absolutely awesome voice and sings in no less than 15 languages. She is known for her tremendous range (not depicted within this piece) & clarity. This is the ONLY performance that I've ever seen her cry.. If you want to watch a totally different perspective of her (including showcasing her range) go here:

Sometimes when we pray, we anticipate an answer to come in a certain time or in a certain way.. but we forget that 'our ways are not the Lord's ways' and we forget to be still and wait and listen and be mindful and patient and trusting..

If you really liked this… there’s a woman from the 70’s that you may like, she started her career much like Amy Grant, in her teens. Her name is Evie Tornquist, I had her Never The Same Again album from 1979, and as a preteen to teen her songs gave me a place to fall into and remember His promises. Now as a … yr old they still hold true and I’m thankful that both UA-cam and Spotify have her music on them for me to listen to it. I could probably sing that album from memory! 😆
The other thing I wanted to say was about the Be Still And Know part, it is hard to be still now days. It is SO hard as a mom, wife, daughter (& in-law), employee/co-worker, friend, mentor, mentee, ministry leader(currently on a hiatus) and so much more to make your brain just shut up and be quiet to hear His voice, because He’s not a big booming voice that shouts at us from the sky, He’s a soft gentle whisper that is easily missed unless you’re actively listening for it. Those who say they have it down to a science… can’t, they have methods that work, but they don’t work all the time as God reaches out to us in many many different ways. And just because it works for one, doesn’t mean it’s going to work for another. He likes to speak to you in your hobbies, the things that you are passionate about as well as the things that scare you that He may want you to be passionate about. Some ways to know the difference between the ‘voices’ are if they are lifting someone else up and it has nothing to do with you, that is most likely from Him. If it is self-gratifying in any way, that may be your own thoughts or the temptations of the evil one. Like for instance, at our age, my husband is finally finishing his degree, and will be applying for ministry jobs soon. Where we feel called to is a different province from where we live and where he’s grown up. Our daily is about to move to a different province on the ‘I got a feeling’ type thing. But, this was through lots of prayer and having to pack and get everything organized in a short amount of time along with leaving both of our families behind… yeah… that’s not self-gratifying to us in any way. As you practice and grow, you will get to know His voice, scripture says that the sheep will know the shepherds voice and follow him. (Read John 10:1-5) blessings!! ❤️❤️❤️

It sounds like you're doing the right thing. He will answer. It might come as a thought in your mind or heart, it might be another person that unknowingly bringing the answers to you, or something that you read or see. It comes in His time, not ours. Just know that all good things come from God. Not material things, but knowledge, faith, love, comfort, kindness. Charity is the pure love of Christ. He loves all of us. Thank you for sharing this.

If the 1st thought that comes to your mind is a good thought, that is God speaking. If you don’t listen to it the 1st time that voice gets a little quiet. The more you don’t listen to it the voice gets more quiet until it disappears

Learning to hear and recognize the voice of God is a life-long process, always something to reach for. He can speak to us in many different ways, and we are all individuals, He will speak to our understanding whatever our personal set of needs, experiences and circumstances are. Having said that, there are a couple of things I have learned over time. A part of hearing God is seeing his hand in our lives. One way of doing that is to pray for something specific (not like "give me a Porsche", but more along the lines of "help me say the right thing to cheer up such-and-such, or "help me handle this situation at work" or "help me gain a better understanding of how to discern your voice" and then have an open mind for noticing what happens in your daily life. Seeing the Lord's care and interest in the details of your life will build your relationship and make you more receptive to when something is from Him. My other advice is using Holy Scripture. I often find answers through the scriptures. I will ask a question and very often withing the next few days I receive the answer or advice I needed while reading the Bible. God bless you on your path!

Dear FaulPlay (I'm sorry, I don't know your name), as a Christian, I hear what you are saying about wanting and trying to hear God's voice and I do understand what you're saying. I have been a Christian, now, for 34 years and I have learned that to hear what God has to say to us, we need to read the Scriptures (the Bible). It's important for us to do🙂

@@BrandonFaul Hi, Brandon. The Bible is God's Word to us. When we read the Bible, we are hearing God. Prayer is our speaking, from our hearts, to our heavenly Father and in return, God's speaking to us, through his Word (the Bible) and guiding us with his Holy Spirit.

    • @BrandonFaul
      @BrandonFaul  2 роки тому

@@happysnail5813 yes I completely understand that but there's more we can access as Christians. We can also listen for God in prayer not just the Bible alone. Which I'm trying to tap into.
