This boy who I loved so much showed me this musician. He joined the marines when we were 19 or 20. I was married to a horrible guy at the time- he called me when he was about to get on his flight to San Diego and had so much sadness in his voice- he said he wanted to say goodbye to me. I told him that’s ridiculous and we would see each other soon- but I never found him again. We didn’t even hook up or anything ever- he was just a beloved person to me, he had a good soul... I’m now married again to a lovely man, one kind of like him, like Jake. I still miss Jake though and I hope he is still alive. If anyone knows how to find a beautiful person named Jake Roberts please contact me. Sigh / cheers
