Yes, we were pleasantly surprised with the variety and quality of the trails. It just proves that you don't always need hard trails to have a great view.
There are no trails like this in IL. These compilation videos is great for those looking to visit. The floating boardwalks are cool but seeing the water and rock formation is my favorite. Can’t believe this was still 2021.
Hahaha yup! It was a bit ago for sure! Yes, there are some beautiful trails here. Anything waterside holds a special place for me and always makes the list.
Any bug free trail would be my favourited trail as even the best of hikes out, especially on a hot day, is totally ruined by the little buggers. A good look back on some real nice trails, cheers Alan
Sorry, my notifications weren't coming through - so I missed this. I prefer the trail in Greenwich. It's a bit longer, but more beautiful. Both trails are flat, expect the very end at Greenwich, but it's for sure the better trail in my opinion.
They were all great trails! So much variety. I can totally tell it's a great national park to visit!

The park offered some really nice trails! I like that all of them are flat, which makes them great for most family members.
Cannot decide between doing the Dunesland Trail, or the Dunes trail in Greenwich...your thoughts?
