This story is so much like my cousin's life. He supported his wife all thru their lives til she got her education and got a great job then later she cheated on him and eventually divorced him. Now he's a teacher in Thailand. Not to be mean to all women out there but some of you women don't deserve a husband like this guy i this story. In my life time I've seen and heard stories about a husband did everything for his wife and in the end he got nothing but a fucked up life due to the fact that he got dumped by his fucked up wife. Most of these sad miserable lives i accounted were mostly whites but there are some asian women too. I for one would never ever do everything in my life for a better man of a life for any women out there cause I know we as human don't appreciate all the great things we got from others, especially women that I'm talking about.
The guy did what he is supposed to be doing as a loving husband. Things just didn't work out. If you distrust a person to start with and you don't do everything within your power to make it work, you are going to fail in any relationship you're in.
