These two types of noodle soup are made from pork bones and crab meat. The broth is made from pork bones, tomatoes, tofu, and dried shrimp. Puree the crab meat, filter the juice, and boil, then scoop out the pate that floats and mix with pork, shrimp, and spices for topping. Boiled pig blood is also used as a topping. When eating Bún Riêu, vermicelli noodles, people will put broth with all toppings, add more pork legs, onion, and chili, and eat them with herbs and thinly sliced banana flowers. In Canh Bún soup, the vermicelli is put into a pot of broth and eaten with boiled water spinach. Both of these bows are served with shrimp paste.
