In the second example you where "watching" that dude for more than 20 sec when he was well visible for the naked eye, coming towards you. In the world of simulators and computers there is a term called afk (away from keyboard) which might have been the cause for this as you say unreal mistake... (or you are correct and it was really set up xD)
From my perspective in the first example it doesn't seem so much that the flare was overdone, but rather it was started too soon, so the airplane flared way up there, stalled and came down in a hurry. The mistake was a misjudgment of height when the flare was initiated.

I don’t know if the buttons have those names, cause I play on the french version (I’m Swiss). Before you start the mission, you tick “Activate the modifications (no reward)” then when the mission starts, you press Alt to have the menu at the top of the screen. The you choose Airplane and Choose an airplane, and there you fly
It's the Caribbean landing mission. He just changed the plane he flies in. Btw, if you continue flying after winning the mission and switch the camera to the 747 you can see it flies straight into the mountain on the other side of the runway.
i remember the Maui mission; i missed the runway cause i couldnt slow down fast enough, and when i was finally about to touch down on the ground my laptop crashes, the screen goes black, it comes back 20 sseconds later, then i crash the plane. i was ready to put a bullet through the screen
Lol, that midair collision reminds me of the time I was making a midnight flight from Frankfurt to Heathrow. Midway through the flight, I saw 2 jets flying at least 100 feet away from each other. Not to mention that they missed me by another half a mile. Definitely the best WTF moment I had in FSX.

I accidentally did the autothrottle mistake the other day. The wheels didn't touch the ground and the plane hovered at the same altitude above the runway the whole time until I realized and went around for another approach.
I have tried many of the wonderful addons out there including REX, planes from PMDG, and planes from Carenado. Those have outstanding exterior models, cockpit models, and functionality, but their flight dynamics fail to suffice. For instance, FSX does not simulate ground effect accurately, rendering landings unrealistic. Ground effect is key factor involved in takeoffs and landings.

ur main issue is ur vectoring into alignment with the runway with full manual control. u need to use the autopilot and switch to manual just before u land. its a lot more accurate that way in terms of speed which was ur obvious problem due to the over-speed warning and also the fact that u were slightly low while u were 8.4 NMs out from airport.

An Air Canada A330-300 is more of a successful landing while a Continenteal 767-400 is more of an epic fail. For your reference, turn off the autothrottle, use full flaps, and slow to an appropriate landing speed to stop fast like an A330 shown.
We have all left the A/T on at least once. It happened to me while flying my 737-800 after a 9 hour flight from Incheon Intl (ICN), Incheon, South Korea to Ruzyne (PRG), Prague, Czech Republic. I made a CAT IIIa ILS approach and everything went fine, but then on rollout I couldn't deploy reversers and I noticed my N1 running up to 30.0%. It took me a second or two to realize what was wrong and quickly disengaged A/T. Everything was fine after I fixed my mistake, but I still felt like a jackass.
This is an utter waste of time and only modest talent. It's so artificial that even a young child would see it as a cartoon. And you've done so many of these; Stop.
In the first example, he flares too much and then the plane stalled with a really hard landing, almost a crash landing, as such as you could see wings flex (in real life a landing like that would damaged the aircraft) , on the second view, it looks like a near collision but he didn't showed the other aircraft so we can't really see what happened.
i wish my fsx was that realistic. it takes forever to take off (i mean like 9000 feet in a 172), brakes are pretty much useless, and reverse thrusters go on and off all by themselves and dont do anything when they are on

Some runways you can still manage a successful landing if you're going over speed, the one at San Maartin isn't one of them. It's so short that there's very little room for error.

Ok I don't see any crab landings , flaps , I don't see anything ILS . ..MS FLIGHT can teach you the fundamentals of flight. But you have to start with basic flight , Cessna 172, piper pa 28 and then multi-engine , turbine and then jet. You gotta get your ratings , private, instrument , multi, commercial, CFI ,CFII .

The autothrottle example is both right and wrong. It's right with the default FS autopilot's logic, but it's wrong in reality. If you use realistic add-ons, like the PMDG 737NGX or the Level-D 767-300, you can land without disconnecting the autothrottle because of the "Flare" mode that automatically moves the throttles to "idle". :)
I have the pmdg 747 and it reacts the same as this video when I forgot to d/c the auto throttle. I ended up in the water at the end the runway at Hong Kong after a long flight from heathrow. Airbus automatically d/c auto throttle when you click the throttle back to idle.

The first one isn't over-flare. It was simply too high. A flare is a controlled stall. This was an uncontrollable stall

He's not using an add-on. In the clips at St. Maarten, he's playing the mission where you land a CRJ 700, and just swapped the CRJ out for a 767.

Before u open the mission from missions menu click 'enable changes' then select different aircraft from the menu once mission starts

Auto throttle is actually what caused the crash of Turkish Airlines flight 1951. The plane crashed in February of 2009.

the A/T usually disenganges automatically when you pull back the thrust lever, the fsx standard aircrafts are not a very good reference

most pilots leave the autothrottle on when landing then it automatically idles right before touch down

Also you don't start out flying say a citation leer, Airbus or Pc24 before you understand basic flight or ground school studies .

when you go to missions, close to the briefing, on the left there is a box to allow changes during the mission
