I totally agree with you, I have been washing my hair everyday since 2012, lots of influencers told that washing everyday is dangerous for hair but I never listened to anyone and I am satisfied with my hair.
it sounds like your scalp wasn’t getting the cleanse it needed, especially with hard water. washing more often should definitely help with the itchiness and flakiness. you might also want to try a clarifying shampoo once a week to help with the hard water buildup. let me know how it works for you.
@bnnyrabbit It's okay. She likes it for herself. You don't have to agree. Her hair length was beautiful before indeed. But this length is beautiful also...
This is such a helpful video! Thank you! 🙏 I’ve been coating my length with conditioner (super cheap, silicone free) before shampooing for a few years now because my scalp needed the washing but my length was not so happy. My hair is loving it 💕
I wash my hair every other day too. It gets drier the less I wash and take care of it. After washing and conditioning it is so soft and moisturized. But it gets dry the day after. And more dry a day later.
Just wanted to say you look great in this haircut/length, you rock both long and short hair ☺️ I’ve been following you for quite some time, and I check your channel more now that you cut your hair to see how you style it and how you’re having fun with it
The Mythic oil from L'oréal was such a hair saver to me. I bought it like 3 years ago and I still did not finish the same bottle. I use only two pumps before hair drying and my hair are SOOOOOO soft, silky and so manageable. This oil is quite costy tho but it lasts you at least a year for a 100 ml bottle. Highly recommend it if you want a powerful oil that'll do a lot for your hair as hydrating, protecting and correcting your hair texture if it's very damaged.
I wash my hair every single day Most people would be like your hair will turn dry and brittle if you do BUT mines grew drastically and I haven't experienced any dry nor brittleness to my hair with an everyday wash! You look beautiful by the way!!! ❤❤❤❤
Yeah, I have 4C hair I have to shampoo once a week deep condition and do the LCO method and check IN on my hair once a week keep track of ends Because 4c we have a hard time retaining length cause are hair breaks alot I just started my hair journey. We’ll see if I’m doing good within three years.
How often should I oil my hair to maintain the moisture. As u said u wash ur hair almost every day soo do u do the oil treatment every time before showering it is it just once a week ???
I would say as often as you have the energy to do it. You shouldnt feel like "oh no i didnt oil my hair today so I cant wash it". Just wash it and do the oil next time 😅
What’s your favorite hair brush to use to not damage your hair ? Also where did your get your cotton t shirt? Find it hard to find one that’s 100% cotton
My problem is that, since I still live with my parents, they refuse to buy those products because they think it's too "chemical," but honestly, those "chemical" shampoos and conditioners really helped with my hair not the "natural" products that do absolutely nothing. 😭🙄😤
@BRuvSt0AsT when i was younger my parents refused to buy me hair products as well because of 'chemicals'. For me, all i wanted was a leave in conditioner but because my parents wouldn't let me buy one, i made my own by putting my actual hair conditioner in a spray bottle with water and i would spray that in my hair after a shower and also in the mornings to refresh my curls. Let me tell you something - at this time i was 14-15 and all i was using was shampoo, conditioner, and DIY leave in conditioner and i had THE healthiest hair OF MY LIFE. No hair masks, no oils, no treatments, no olaplex, NOTHING. Now, i'm stressed, i've got vitamin deficiencies so my hair has thinned out a lot. I also do use hair masks and oils and stuff but i don't think they are necessary - take it from me im speaking from experience. Anyway hope this helps :)
I wash twice but I love that tip and I'm definitely gonna do it, clarifying first then moisturizing. Ur hair is so healthy and beautiful so ur tips r great to try. Were u tired of ur long hair? Sometimes it can be really hard to take care of . I often dread hair was day it's another job😂
I can’t believe I used to follow your advice, I mean, at one point, like two years ago, your hair was amazing. I remember being amazed by your hair. Recently your UA-cam channel has been recommended to me. I’m sorry but you are so unrecognizable! You are still beautiful however your hair is nothing like it used to be. !
@ayshanusrat3509 she explained clensing. But not the effect on the scalp. Check @labmuffinscience Dr Michelle wrong. No need to shampoo more than once at a time.
@@otherstuff5750 your scalp is always producing oil. Some scalps produce oil quicker. And no, you cannot train your scalp to produce oil at a slower rate. So no she is not drying her scalp out. Also, if you think it's best to wash every 3-5 days then im assuming you're oblivious to the dirty scalp smell. This smell is strong and you might think no one around you can smell it when you walk past someone but trust me, it can be smelt by everyone around you and its disgusting. You wouldn't go 3-5 days without washing your oily face so why go that long without washing your oily scalp.
@ my dermatologist was the one who recommended it. You’re not supposed to wash your hair often unless you do heavy workouts everyday. Where are you getting your information from?
I totally agree with you, I have been washing my hair everyday since 2012, lots of influencers told that washing everyday is dangerous for hair but I never listened to anyone and I am satisfied with my hair.
When I was washing my hair once a week it started getting a lot thinner, itchy and flaky. We also have hard water. I’m going to try this. Thanks! ❤
