That was fun, not sure who had more you or us? Dont worry about the traffic we are so busy watching and listening to you its hardly noticeable....except when you keep bring it to our attention!!! Love this thankyou CeeCee.💜
I think it does look "extraordinary". I love it!
Just love your work and commentary... Particularly your "oops" ies!
I have never been much of a doodler, probably because it is so free and I am just learning about letting go and trying....fear has been my middle name for a lot of years. It has been fun trying it out and realizing that my journal is just that...MY journal. And learning that things don't always turn out pretty is very freeing. Thanks CeeCee and so glad you're feeling better today.
I've had company for the past week and have no time for videos....oh my heavens, what I have seen today makes my heart sing! I'm going straight to my craft room and TRY to make a card using this technique. I am so enchanted with your be 1!autiful paintings! Love to you and your talent
I am happy to hear you are feeling better. I enjoy your morning warm-up videos so much. I do most things in 3 like you. If not 3, I go with odd numbers as well. This was a fantastic video to try doodles a different way. Today I plan on making bookmarks. I want to try this technique. I have a flat water brush that came in a set I now want to try out. Thank you for sharing and being such an inspiration. It is because of your morning warm-up videos that I am finally finding my creativity outside the box.
that's so awesome. keep going! have a fantastic weekend!
Cee Cee I just love hearing the joy in your voice in this video and the fact that you're never finished! :)
Beeeeeeauuuuutiful! I'm NEVER disappointed after watching your vids. a year ago I would cringe at the very thought of painting with watercolors but found your channel, invested a few bux for a few sets and now I just LOVE it. I try to play with them every day even if its not for very long..i'm sorry I didn't try them sooner! so.... THANK YOU for being such a wonderful inspiration!!!!
thank you so much, Robyn, for your comment. it makes me so happy to hear that i've inspired others to create. have a wonderful and creative day!
This is my first watercolor inspired by you. I have painted oils for 13 years and this is like learning to paint all over again but I am enjoying it so much. Your videos make it fun and non-intimidating. I have to figure out how to put my painting in the comments, so thank you so much for giving your time on utube to teach me how to paint.
Paula
thank you, Paula. you can't really add a photo to comments but if you share it on either Facebook or Instagram and tag me with @creationsceecee, i will get notification and be able to see it!
I love this style. It reminds me of the Illustration from the Pink Panther cartoon. My favorite growing up as a child. Thank you for providing these lovely and creative videos!!
Thanks for these doodles, noobie to watercolour and these are awsome to create.
Thank you thank you! You’ve given me back the joy of art, gonna share these cards with people during this globally difficult time.. thank you 🙏💐💕 you are just so lovely!
Your back baby!! Woohoo...another awesome flower tut!💐💐 Thanks so much!! You did the thinking for me...can’t wait to try!
Your art is so beautiful. You are an inspiration. I feel so at ease watching and listening to you. Comforting. Bless you. Lots of hugs from Ireland.xx
Beautiful! Can't wait to try these soon. Thank you for showing how to paint these. I love flowers.
The added detail was a great finish!!! I love your style...
I love this!!! It's so loose and whimsical and fun and light. Totally speaks to a vibe I identify with-- Can't wait to watch more of your videos!! Thanks!
Perfect!! Love this piece, CeeCee. It's simplicity yet detailed in a way that the eye is drawn to the leaves, doodles, with the white dots that finish it off beautifully. 😘💖🌷⚘🎨
Again I am just catching clips here and there that I have not seen and enjoy watching the process and the beautiful colors used.💕👍🌻☕
I'm new to watercolor painting and so glad I come upon your site. I struggle with life-like flowers sometimes, and your style and ease of composition will help me so very much! Thank you so much, I love all your videos.
Love them both…so very inspirational….❤❤❤
CeeCee, I thoroughly enjoyed your verbal thought process in the video. It gave me a peek into your creative mind. Thank you so very much. It's such a gift!
Love this design. I used the Mission Watercolors you've recommended... the Mission colors are so bright, mix so well together, just superb!
I will do that, definitely! I realised I have to the moment you said "don't panic, it will not stay like that...", that's what I plan to overcome - my panic that something will not turn out good and fun. thank you for this video! it's great that you are feeling better.. and one more thing, in the very end, while comparing two pages, it hit me that though this page has kinda more doodling, due to your technique it looks more watercolor-y! amazing!
thank you, Oksana. please don't let the fear stop you. use that fear to turn your hesitation into a learning experience. at the end of the day, it's only a piece of paper that you can turn into something else if you don't like it. then you grab another piece of paper and do more!
CeeCee thank you so much. I’m inspired, I don’t paint much but watch all your videos. Think I’ll try this. Love this so much
I absolutely love this video, I am definitely going to have a try at this doodling method. Thank you for the inspiration x
Another ceecee lunch date😍
And another pretty page! I’m loving your pieces mama! There so colourful and cheerful. Makes me feel happy💛xxx
thanks, sweetie! have a wonderful evening :-)
I just love your morning art, it inspires me to get my watercolours and doodling out again. I may try it with geometric and abstract shapes! Tfs CeeCee.
Love both of these.Surprising how those bits of white just finished it off 😄.💜 Glad you are feeling better x
Thanks for the explanation, I do enjoy the morning practices...gets my morning going.
awesome! thank you and have a wonderful day.
flowers so delicate and happy! i love your style .
I love the colors and the light feel of this. Thank you so much for sharing!
I just love this morning warm up, thank you again for sharing your visions with us ❤️ can you show your water glass or dish, I'm new to water coloring and need to see it all. 😁
thank you, Christine. i could show a larger picture at the beginning but because i have an overhead permanent installation, i can't show the paints and the water when i do smaller details. since i think the brush strokes are more important than anything else, for now it has to be that way. i wish i had a multi-cam set up with someone to help out... dreams can come true, right?! have a wonderful day!
creationsceecee Thank you for your message! I’m learning so much from you ❤️
I’m loving these doodled flowers xxx💕
This is another great doodle! Fun, fun, fun! Thank you so much.
The background sound is not annoying at all! Please do not worry about it!
You are so much fun. Love your style. Love your doodles!
Love these two.
Fabulous page, which compliments the other one beautifully. Love your doodles. Tfs xo
I find I could use to leave more paper and white space than filling it in like I usually do. Your flowers turned out so great! As usual!
So beautiful! You inspire me!
I love your creations! i follow you from Chiapas México
Love your style and compositions. Thank you.
You inspired me alot beautiful paintings 🖼
Ohhh LOVE it!!! So pretty and delicate and the colors are just perfect!!
Love your work! You are such an inspiration for a beginner like me 😃
Love your creations
Don't know if you'll even see this post, but I love your style of watercolor with doodles!!! So cool! Anxious to try it!! Thanks!!!
I just love what you do, it inspired me to go and create. Thank you x
I love this technique so much! I gave it a try and though I’m completely inexperienced I was able to achieve something I liked which is surprising for me! I’m going to keep practicing it! Thank for sharing!
That's so awesome! thank you and have a creative weekend.
I did it and I loved this moment of creating in your company ! I like your commentaries better than the music. Thank you so much for sharing this time with us !
Just beautiful. Looking forward to trying this. TYFS!!! :)
Omg thanks for this beautiful idea! I took inspiration and made some cards and a paint 🎨
I do love your work, I so look forward to watching everything you do.
Love it Ceecee . Glad you're feeling better 😊
I love your laugh😂❤️💃🏽🔥🔥thank you is so much fun and beautiful too🌸💕
Love this idea I will have to give this a try. Thank you
Simple but effective love your art play x
thank you, Caz!
I cannot paint for toffee but I am so excited by following your tutorials and cant wait to do another one
You inspire me as well! And though I enjoy the music, I do like hearing your thoughts as you go along. What I like best is you are so “in the moment “ that it’s easy for me to loosen up. My flowers aren’t like yours? Well yours are not mine!😉. Now, if only I could remember to leave my edges white when I paint the background! (Is there a way to insert a pic of my version?)
thank you, Catherine. you can't insert a picture here but you can tag me on facebook or instagram: @creationsceecee on both platforms
I loved this video and the painting! Thank you, Ceecee 💕.
Actually I liked the background noise, hate most of the music most people make us listen to. Also love how you paint.
I like it when you talk, while you create.
Very cute! Love it! Thanks!
Thank you for being so inspiring ! I love all your videos !
Totally love this!!❤
Learning so much from you, thank you :)
Thank you for all the great commentary.
I really love your stuff and your style. Thank you for your input I’ll try not to be a copycat but I did do that for the first try and it was so fun and easy. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏼
Awesome! So cute! I’m trying this one!❤️
These are beautiful, will definitely be trying to do these techniques.
I know this was a while ago but it sounds like you had a vestibular migraine. Hope it was just a one off as they are horrible.
Love your videos! Thank you!!
Ceecee, the commentary helped give me some "instruction." Is this free-form doodling intuitive or can it be taught? Is it just learned through trial and practice? I really do love the look of it.
I like them both
Do you find the paper chews up your microns? I appreciate the talking and the mistakes and your amazing news .. I'm completely new to watercolour and you are opening my eyes
Love this, and so whimsical.....relaxing to watch. Thumbs down to those who gave a thumbs down! Seriously, people?! Thanks for sharing! ❤
Love this. 💕
How did you develop your style? I love this simple elegance you create. How can I even imagine what to do and how to come up with any style. I'm very new in this.
So pretty!
I really appreciated the commentary this morning CeeCee - my flowers lost a lot of their boundaries when I added the background so my version was even more outside the flower than yours! 😂
So so prettylove this
Très beau j'adore je vais essayer de peindre ceci .. ! Bonne journée !! de tout coeur Elisabeth
Oh, as soon as you said "let's hide this page here.." I went "aaaaah!" - so dainty and naive the flowers looked, like from a fairy tale! :))) wonderful!!
Oksana, the page i hid is yesterday's video. you can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/ZcSjrWp6X4A/v-deo.html . i just didn't want to be distracted by it.
I haven't expressed myself clearly, I guess.. What I wanted to say is that without that page on the left I managed to see the delicate nature of the page on the right :))
Très très beau, je comprend pas l’anglais mais j’essaye de me connecter avec tes dessins 😍
Lovely work 😊 💞
Looove it!
Love it too
Tank You! Itt was Great!
Beautiful ❤
You have brought me over to the watercolor side and have encouraged me to doodle with it too. Thanks for the encouragement. You have no idea what this permission means to me. Thank you sincerely.
I'd really like to see more of your brush action pre brush to page. Did that make sense? I used watercolors today, for the first time in years, all I have are the pencils, which I had no idea how to use until I watched you use them. It was okay, but it warped badly even though I used a heavy watercolor paper. (I ironed it to smooth it back flat.). I plan to try my hand at doodling on it tomorrow. Thanks for sharing; the running commentary was very illuminating!
I love your work. You have a beautiful style and calming personality. Love your videos. If I can make an observation, I find it difficult to watch when the image is zoomed in too close, I prefer to see the entire composition at once without you having to move your image into frame all the time. I feel the black pen is easy to see when panned out a bit. I don't mean to criticise, and maybe I'm alone in this. What do you think? Thanks again for sharing. You are fantastic.
thank you, Elaine, for your comment! i always welcome a constructive observation. i appreciate it.
J adore !!! Merci
Lovely!😍
Again another great video.May I ask, do you use the pan set from Mission gold or tubes? I saw a set of 36 pans with palette for $88.30 on Ebay.
thank you, LInda. i am using the set of the 36 tubes. i'm sure the pans are as lovely.
I really enjoy your videos. I have tried to do 2 pieces thus far. Your colors are vibrant, what brand do you prefer? Do you have other subjects besides flowers?
thank you! i have a palette that has many brands but i have to say my faves are Sennelier, Daniel Smith, Mijello, Shinhan.... they are all amazing with some particularities. depends on the mood and the color i need. i love painting flowers but i also love landscapes and cityscapes, with a strong penchant for abstract. have fun painting!
Hello CeeCee ! Can you do same kind of comparison between watercolor and gauche paints.
Lovely
Hi CeeCee, I love it when you talk...put you on mute? Unspeakable crime! I will watch the talkie ones over and over! And it's nice that you can open the window to enjoy fresh air...I doubt that could bother anyone ;-) I love how you doodle in your arting!!! Thank you for taking the time to share your process with us, it really is helpful for many, I'm sure!
I did purchase a micron pen, because I want to try this doodling with watercolors, and in my tiny test...even though I let the pen dry at least an hour...I couldn't hardly believe it, but the ink lightened and muddied a bit, and then I got abusive (haha) and scrubbed that ink right off the paper. I wasn't all that abusive either, as all my paint brushes are new, and I don't want to mess them up. Now, there was no watercolor under the ink, just some Canson XL scrap I was willing to sacrifice ;-) I had some Winsor & Newton yellow ochre PY43 and not a ton or water or anything on my brush. Weird, right? But, it was just one tiny test, so not much in the way of "proof", ya know. Me, I must have a fear of lack or something, because, unless I had at least one extra pad of paper, I seem to be far too concerned with "wasting it", which leads to not using it. ugh.
Wow, that heat tool really does dry fast! At least it didn't seem like any of it was sped up or edited out, I hope to own a heat tool soon. My career was a pet groomer. I had my own business, and I still own an expensive, what's called a stand dryer. It heats up super well and blows tons of air, and it works so well for drying watercolor paintings. The only thing is, it also works well as a house heater, haha! I can turn the heat down, all the way to just air, but no matter what, it trips the breaker unless I run it in the bathroom, haha, so yes I dry my paintings in the bathroom 8-]
I will still try using my new pen on watercolor. I bet I will have fine results once I loosen up and have some fun with it. I really love how your art turns out, well always, but when you use the pen too. Thank you again, CeeCee! I hope you're having a nice weekend
Where do I buy your big pallet of colors including your beautiful metallic colors?
Me encantan . Podrían traducirlo al español. Ojalá 🙏
