I'd like to send a whisper to my future self who may once again go a long period of time without this song before finding it again, hold on and keep your loved ones close by and close in heart. My childhood best friend was diagnosed with cancer around the time of this song, and sadly 5 years later we lost her. Rip Miriam.
I'm so sorry your friend had to go through that, and that you had to watch her go through it, too. I lost my grandmother due to cancer, and it hurts so much when they're gone. But I think Miriam would be happy to know that you dedicate this song to her every time you hear it :) I try to keep that in mind when I listen to music that reminds me of people I miss.
