Alright! I'm just sharing about what I discovered in another Enchanted video(props to Peter Griffin):: Ok, so, I think Adam and Taylor met at a bar or a performance of either one of them, maybe Adam. So, after the performance, Taylor(I think) went backstage to meet Adam. And, as media said, Adam was a fan and used the unique words "enchanted" and "wonderstruck" towards meeting her. They had a conversation, until Taylor had to go home. As she walked away, she thought "Does he like me? Or is there a certain someone waiting for him?" She looks back at him, blushing a bit, only to see him blushing a little, too. So she made a metaphorical song about her "crush" on Adam. But what she didn't know, is that he had a hardcore crush on her, even before they met in person. They soon were messaging each other frequently. And 2 weeks after Taylor released the song "Enchanted", Adam comes across it, and instantly knew it was dedicated to him, because the words he used were in the lyrics. 6 months later, he made his response version. This really is not cringey and made a lot of sense for him to do. I mean, I’m not a ‘fluffy’ person so listening to this now doesn’t do much for me, but I don’t like that Adam is called a creep for this despite Taylor being the one who literally wrote the entire song in the first place and added cryptic messages in her album for him to explicitly find. I find it bizarre and somewhat cruel that she never responded. I’m going to theorize and guess that she probably did at some point down the line but they kept whatever happened private. Was Adam a little strong in his response? Yes! But it literally makes no sense that she never responded haha. Aside from being well-done and original, this cover is just a beautiful, sweet, incredibly romantic gesture. I've done some research and it seems as though Swift never said anything to Young about the cover, which I can't believe. Either way, though, this cover shows Young's class and respectfulness and is a special moment in music history. I hope we all find a love exactly like this, and that for us, it is only "one page."

Alright! I'm just sharing about what I discovered in another Enchanted video(props to Peter Griffin)::
Ok, so, I think Adam and Taylor met at a bar or a performance of either one of them, maybe Adam. So, after the performance, Taylor(I think) went backstage to meet Adam. And, as media said, Adam was a fan and used the unique words "enchanted" and "wonderstruck" towards meeting her. They had a conversation, until Taylor had to go home. As she walked away, she thought "Does he like me? Or is there a certain someone waiting for him?" She looks back at him, blushing a bit, only to see him blushing a little, too. So she made a metaphorical song about her "crush" on Adam. But what she didn't know, is that he had a hardcore crush on her, even before they met in person. They soon were messaging each other frequently. And 2 weeks after Taylor released the song "Enchanted", Adam comes across it, and instantly knew it was dedicated to him, because the words he used were in the lyrics. 6 months later, he made his response version. And on Valentines Day, he sended it to Taylor. Sadly, though, she never replied.
Awhile later, he got interveiwed about it. And said these things about Taylor, "She is a very talented person that has a strong personality and expresses herself through her own songs. So, when you hear one of her songs, you get to know her a little more. If she ends up with (insert name of guy she's dating) then I would wish them the happiest blessing I could give." (Those were his exact words)

Just heard Enchanted from Taylor for the first time today and I fell in love with it! It reminds me of the first time I met my husband. I was actually on a date with someone else and I knew when I was introduced that he would be important. Fast forward a couple years and our paths crossing occasionally and we started dating. We have been together for 22 years. Then I fall down a rabbit hole and find out the song was about Adam and this was his response. There are no words to how sweet and pure this is and sooo relatable

this song reminds me of my ghost friend mickey. this song was played at his high school graduation. he was walking across the stage with his girlfriend, cindy, and she was instantly in love with him. they were secretly in love ever since they started grade 12 together. they then got married shortly after the high school graduation and they had the twins at 21 years old. that was 18 years ago. mickey has now passed away from a heart attack because of all the complications of being overweight two days before his 40th birthday. he survived by cindy and sammy and alex. i always tear up a little bit whenever i'm hearing this song now, i can't really help this guys. i just really miss him lots.

This really is not cringey and made a lot of sense for him to do. I mean, I’m not a ‘fluffy’ person so listening to this now doesn’t do much for me, but I don’t like that Adam is called a creep for this despite Taylor being the one who literally wrote the entire song in the first place and added cryptic messages in her album for him to explicitly find. I find it bizarre and somewhat cruel that she never responded. I’m going to theorize and guess that she probably did at some point down the line but they kept whatever happened private. Was Adam a little strong in his response? Yes! But it literally makes no sense that she never responded haha. I just think she must have rejected him behind the scenes or they want on a few dates and realized it wasn’t actually a good match. It is what it is.
Agreed! And who knows how long it was between her writing this, deciding to release it on Speak Now, and the album actually coming out and Adam hearing it. It could have been several months to a year, so Taylor's feelings may have been in a whole new place.

Aside from being well-done and original, this cover is just a beautiful, sweet, incredibly romantic gesture. Having someone care enough to pen this melodic response to your confession of love...talk about a "dream come true." I've done some research and it seems as though Swift never said anything to Young about the cover, which I can't believe. Either way, though, this cover shows Young's class and respectfulness and is a special moment in music history. I hope we all find a love exactly like this, and that for us, it is only "one page."
