i like how there isn't a lot or any of random romantic relationships in the show. more just focused on friendships and business relationships. idk i feel like this show is just perfect as it is but gilfoyles relationship with his satanist gf was funny
I feel like there was almost a romantic storyline between Richard and Monica, but they seem to have ditched it.
Yeah I had the same impression. Their awkward conversations and the "You see mine then you have to show me yours" kinds of give a hint about it

ugh I hate it when interviewers keep on pushing why is there no "love life" in the show? So what? I actually liked how the show focuses more on the actual business/tech problems than some cheesy love stories. There are already TV shows for that. And the friendship the guys (even with monica) share is actually enough.

the friendships this show has built are awesome and waht makes us coming back to it. i wouldn't be opposed to a romantic relationship, but it's not necessary for the show to be good. that's what i respect about it very much. the characters have their own agency and it has been build up for five seasons so any other relationship is extra and doesn't intervene with the plot

+briantong I asked cos it was nice to have heard their views on the lack of representation of woman in Silicon Valley. It wasn't their roles as actors to decide casting but we all thought about it from the question. So my question was on a similar note.
