‘Mate value’; I read about the concept of mate value in the book ‘Evolution of Desire.’ Put simply its totality of what you bring to the table, and it changes as we progress through our career, as we age, and so on. ~ As for 2/10 or 7/10, different people value different aspects of their partner, which in turn determines the “rating”. For instance, I value intelligence, kindness, and a positive outlook towards life above all else and that’s how I look at someone when I “evaluate” them. I am sure you were 7/10 for someone when you were back in Nepal. ~ I have very strong jaw lines but a bigger forehead. Someone might look at my forehead and call me ugly; on the other hand someone else might find my strong jawlines attractive. ~ There is no such thing as ugly or beautiful. It’s just a completely individual perception as we tend to view the work through the lens of what we value. ~ That's my two cents : )
Fr when i was swimming i kinda got tanned and felt so ugly as if i needed to have a white skin idk society had imprinted it in my mind that if iam not fair iam not good looking , and iam generally skinny not much but kinda lost alot of wt and people commented so much on it ! I hate our nepalese society so much ! I love you youre beaut girl ! Dont ever forget that ❤❤❤ i personally love how gold stuffs looks soo good on somehwat brown or dark skin ! Muwah
People often judge based on looks-skin color, height, weight, or even preferences like sweet or bitter. But don’t let these opinions define you. You are who you are. Focus on what you can control, embrace your uniqueness, and strive for peace and mindfulness. Just as most people value peace over war, goodness is what truly matters.
I too am a brown girl. I grew up in Singapore, so my brown skin, to me did not feel that big of an “issue” until I went to India to visit relatives. They all say “if only you were a bit lighter” , “why have you gotten so dark?” like it is a bad thing. No matter how many years it has been, the contrast never ceases to surprise me. Sending you lots of love ❤
We have learned to accept the Ill-manner and that has become a norm. Example: you aren't pretty, and you feel bad, but you must accept that comment because the person who said that is " Naive and uneducated or it's her habit, says things right at the face" I call that person mannerless. Everyone has a sense, everyone knows that could hurt people, but they want us to accept that comment as if nothing happened. They get away with it and this is an Unfortunate.
unfortunately a lot of people back home aren't aware of their actions/words. Sth we probably can't change by saying it just once (especially changing folks who are 40+ yo) i try my best to just not be around such people bc i honestly dont want to waste my energy to even fight back bc i know they are not going to change
damn my parents really told me not to care about whatever people says and you keep moving forward but am really pretty I wouldn't have cared about people though because they are collecting some bad bad karma they will always be stuck in hellish realm😂😋
You are truly Gorgeous ! Forget 7/10 , you are 10/10. That is what I have always felt like ever since I saw you for the first time on instagram. I was like oh my god , this girl is so pretty 😅😀 It is crazy how Asian beauty standards are so toxic . It truly is so sad.
You are beautiful, strong, confident and smart ♥

The pain behind the smile is very painful and powerful thank you for being so vocal about these things.

You are So beautiful. I'm Obsessed !
When white people say they want to be tanned, it does not mean the the brown or black skin. It means the tanned white skin.
