Lot of things go into the grant process for emergency services. Certain requirements need to be met, and there are also limits to grants. So many departments use and apply for grants and grants can’t be provided to every single department so in a way it’s kind of luck or a competition to actually sometimes get approved for grants.
My dad was a volunteer firefighter for 20yrs here in the UK and it would have been his 70th birthday today so seeing this really made me smile !! Total RESPECT from the UK!! X🫶X
Lots of scouts doing these across the country both for Eagle projects and some troops doing it as service projects as hardly any rural FDs get the grant. It's great to see this coming to light finally
