Ms Bass, thank you for your video. If you love Oysters Rockefeller that much, try finding "Herb Santa" at your local(?) farmer's market, or in a Hispanic grocery store. It's green, leafy, has a mild licorice flavor, and just happens to be the secret green herb used at Antoine's Restaurant in New Orleans where the dish was invented. Simply substitute it for the spinach, you will have an entirely new take on the dish. Bon Appetite! (Whole Foods has a Friday afternoon special on fresh oysters - guess where I'm going later today?)
Cacharel McNeil really?! Girl, I think you’d really like these! This is my favorite way to eat oyster. If you give it a try, I hope you really enjoy it!
Lannie, I love your video..Thanks for sharing... yum yum yum for me! Here in southern Chile , we have amazing japanese oysters..I tried yoir recipe, and ...wooooow
Woo, this is the best Oysters Rockefeller Recipe I have seen, you truly an amazing Chef, I need to cook that, have too, this look incredible, you so talented, I can't thank you enough for this awesome video, my Husband will love it, I am not about the kids they don't like fish I'll make for them macaroni and cheese for them, that is always winner, have a blessed day, stay connected, Thank you so much for this video!
I just made these and they were as easy as you made it appear to be....sooooooooo delicious. This is my "go to" oyster recipe. Thank you for sharing!!!
Omg I didn't not like oysters until my friend introduced them to me. I went years without eating them, so I was introduced again and boi I have been missing out on some really good oysters. I mean unbelievable. The name of the restaurant was Rusty's in Cape Canaveral FL.They we're so good I went 2 nights in a row Omg yummy 😋 Thank you friend. I'm definitely going make my own. Thank for the video.
Wanted to ask, can you use any kind of cheese besides cream cheese. I had some at a place but i think they used mozzarella cheese or some white cheese. Imma try the cream cheese tho
It depends on your oven. When I broil, my oven goes to 500. You only want the oysters under the broiler for 1-2 minutes tops. Only really to melt the cheese and get a pretty golden brown color.
I was trying to tell my dad that we should make the sauce in a pan but he instead we do it on the grill. He added butter and Parma san and called it rocks fella🤔
I just made oysters for the 1st time and used this recipe and they were so good, honestly better than the restaurant

Looks delicious. Question, ever add bacon bits??
I haven’t but that sounds really yummy!
@@LannieBass huge oyster Rockefeller fan also. Going to try your recipe at home. Keep your videos coming.
You are amazing
Simply Jennifer awww! Thank you girly!
Wanted to ask, can you use any kind of cheese besides cream cheese. I had some at a place but i think they used mozzarella cheese or some white cheese. Imma try the cream cheese tho
Yes, you can use whatever cheese you like…mozzarella is a good choice…the cream cheese just gives the filling a creamier and smooth texture.
@@LannieBass gotta buy some more oysters tomorrow
Yummy
Thanks!
Oh my gosh this looks the bomb 😍😍😍😍😍
Simply Jennifer thank you!!
New sub 🔥🔥🔥🔥😍
Thanks!
Thank you
How long did you bake them in the oven and on what heat setting ?
You’re not necessarily baking the oysters…you’re putting them under a broiler for a minute or two. Just until they’re bubbly and golden brown.
Broil at what temperature? I love this dish. I just got some already chucked so I'll make the spinach "bechamel" as i call it. Thanks so much for this
It depends on your oven. When I broil, my oven goes to 500. You only want the oysters under the broiler for 1-2 minutes tops. Only really to melt the cheese and get a pretty golden brown color.
@@LannieBass thanks for that!
No Swimp?
Didn't say how long & what temp the oven goes on 🙄
Ma’am, I literally say what setting and for how long at the 3:45 mark. If you try the recipe, I hope you enjoy. 😉
So is the oyster raw or cooked in the process?
It’s cooked in the process.
@LannieBass thanks. I never had that, but it looks delicious. I just don't like the texture of a raw oyster.
Looks great just needs a squeeze of lemon.
When buying oyster make sure u have a few holes for them to breath or they will die on the way home
📝✔👍🏾😋
👋🏾👋🏾☺️
That hole in your shirt is for your thumb isn’t it?
Ok, I watched the whole thing but my question wasn't addressed. Did the kiddies partake? Cause I know they like to eat also😂
Amy Hobson yes, my 8 year old loves it but my 3 year old is super picky so she didn’t eat any. Lol! Thanks for watching!!
I was trying to tell my dad that we should make the sauce in a pan but he instead we do it on the grill. He added butter and Parma san and called it rocks fella🤔
Your dads version sounds pretty good too. ☺️
The hole in your sleeve is a thumb hole lol
Gotta add hot sauce lime and horseradish sauce to it. And a couple shots of tequila for every 12 you eat
Us SOUTH CAROLINA PEOPLE'S (843)
Yeeessssss! I’m 843 too! 😉
I cannot trust a recipe from someone who doesn't know what shirt thumb holes are.
😂 Ok David.
Garlic and onion powder??? I guess you have never heard of shallots and garlic. Find another hobby.
Thanks for watching! ☺️
3 years in, and my team still says, "Boss Lady, can you make Tater tots"
Bell and jalapeno peppers added.💯💯
