@@keylanistyles yes, it will work on 2007 Lexus LX 470 if the stereo has factory navigation. When you click on the page and check the tab called "Compatibility", you will see the 2007 Lexus LX 470 listed as compatible.
Looking forward to my install! Two questions: 1: is there any adapter to be able to retain the DVD changer? I’ve seen a couple of Bluetooth adapters that have a Y harness so that the system will switch between DVD and BT adapter. 2: is there an alternative method to remove the cigarette lighter rather than buying a specialized tool?
Hello, Thank you for contacting us, and good luck with the installation! 1. There is no way to retain the external CD changer. If you have the RSE DVD player, it will keep working. 2. We do not know of any alternative method to remove the cigarette lighter.
2003 Lexus LX470 with the factory navigation is compatible with GROM VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 system, however slightly different model is needed. You can check here compatible nodels: gromaudio.com/store/all-toyl_lex3l_.html
I have a 03 lx470 with vline 2 and it has a wired and wireless CarPlay but it keeps disconnecting and going back to factory radio, I hard reset the battery and it pulls back up but I’m getting tired of doing that please help
Sure, we can help! The first step is to ensure that your system has all latest firmware and software installed. Here is how to: ua-cam.com/video/UrQ2TWJ5v1Q/v-deo.html Then you can also do the factory reset of your unit. Here is how to: ua-cam.com/video/86eTExkcQo8/v-deo.html If the two steps above will not help, contact our technical team at gromaudio.com/support.html We will help!
They both are good :) The VLite VT2 is only CarPlay and Android Auto - both wireless and wired. The VLine VL2 is for CarPlay, Android Auto, and also a stand-alone Android system that allows you to install apps from the Google Play store directly to the system. As 2004-2007 Lexus LX 470 stereo is lower resolution, it makes more sense to get the cheaper model LEX4VT2 VLite VT2 system for just CarPlay and Android Auto. Check here: gromaudio.com/store/all-toyn_lex4_.html
Will the V Line's location inside the GC obstruct access to the inside cabin air filters? Those are located inside the glove compartment. Nice video.. And will my SiriusXM radio work with this system? Thank you!

It depends on how the CD changer is connected. If something was connected to the back of the stereo to the place where you connected MCFTOY cable, you can leave it disconnected, as it might be the CD changer cable. Do not reconnect it back to the MCFTOY cable. If that will not help, or if that will disable something in your stereo system, you will need to locate the CD changer plug in the armrest and try to disconnect there.
@@adotkhan Did you disconnect it at the base of the changer? My volume knob won't work and I am going to give this a shot before I try and update the firmware.
Disconnected from the arm rest side the cables of cd changer and connected Vline cable Your volume knob if not working , check if volume controls working from steering wheel buttons . If yes volume Knob is faulty
Ok dude… you skipped the microphone and the satellite radio antenna, my vline definitely didn’t come with a flush mount usb, which would have been real nice to know about🤦♂️
The flush mount is available on our website: gromaudio.com/store/accessories/cable-c-fmusb.html We also have separate videos for the microphone and GPS routing, check our UA-cam channel.
Hey nice video, will be buying Vline soon on 15 Oct when its back in stock. Do I need to remove cd changer wires or you didnt show how to disconnect cd changer wires in this video?
You will need to follow to the installation instructions that are specific to your car stereo. The disconnection of the CD changer also depends on your specific car stereo. For LEX4 / LEX3 / LEXGS / LEXGX models of VLine external CD changer will need to be disconnected for VLine to work.
To connect the actual VLine to the cables, you simply refer to the installation instructions that are supplied with the product. There are two connectors that you will need to connect. Do you have any specific questions regarding to the installation?
It will work as long as the stereo has factory navigation, however the model of the VLine that you will need is LEXGXVL2, it is available here: gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-lexgx.html
The VLine VL2 model LEX4 for CarPlay Android Auto in 2004-2007 Lexus LX 470 is here: gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-lex4.html

Can you set it to start up every time you turn on the car automatically or do you need to hit the button each time the car is started?
It will start up every time you turn on the car. You need to pair and connect your phone once, and after that everything is automatic.
You show two options for the LX470. Which is the best one?

Will the box be located inside the glove compartment?
We recommend placing the unit inside the glove compartment for the safest placement and easier accessibility.
Will the V Line's location inside the GC obstruct access to the inside cabin air filters? Those are located inside the glove compartment. Nice video.. And will my SiriusXM radio work with this system? Thank you!
You can check and position the VLine so it does not obstruct the cabin air filters.
