I'll check my joust cabinet when I get home. So for this online spectate environment. This is exactly like the killer instinct system that code mystics did for the community. So I'm going to speculate that arcade1up reached out to code mystics to buy the spectate license and implemented it into the mk cabs. Not saying code mystics did this, but they developed it and then sold the ability for arcade1up to add this to their mk cabs

Will this work on the joust cabinet with riser that also has mortal kombat on ?

Good question. I don't own it so I can't say for sure. You don't have to go looking for the update, it just pops up automatically when you turn on the cab. So, all i can suggest is, if you own the joust one, turn it on and see if the update pops up.
