      I would still say the Blade has a little more (the Blade definitely isn't terrible spin). But it is close between these two.

    I play tested cx200 too. Mine was 311 strung SW. Funny thing is that I preferred it stock and didn’t like it with lead at 320SW. It doesn’t feel light even with 311SW thought the air. I believe it’s the throat design. It’s very very stable with such low SW but i found latest blade v9 even more stable and even more powerful…. not by much in terms of power but to me blade still has the edge in ball heaviness. But CX200 has more power and spin definitely from previous gen. Feel is a mix of blade v7 and pro staff i would say….. it reminded me of modern Babolat’s in a way which are more soft/plush. My main issue with cx200 was a feeling of small sweet spot….. it doesn’t forgive at the edges of 3/9. On sweet spot hitting it’s a weapon but when i grab blade v9 16x19 it feels like going to a tweener compared to CX200. I am very curious next to try 400 tour and blade 100….. some say even a modded 100L blade is a hidden gem…..

    To le the best thing with this racket is that they opened up the string pattern, it really looks like the tecnifibre iso 300 's stringbed.
    I love it. Easier on slices with the same space between every string, more Spin, still easy to hit flat.
    Remind me the speed mp to mut in a more manoeuvrable package. Love it. Play my best tennis since grahity pro (to heavy for me now).

One question: if you have to choose, do you prefer this cx200 or the previous one? Salutes from Uruguay.

    I played with the original Dunlop graphite racket when I was in my 30s. It was very flexible which I loved for the spin. I left the game in the 80's due to elbow problems, but now at 70, I'm trying to join the old, slow, fat, and weak league. Trying to figure out what racket to play with now has been mind boggling, so much contradictory information. I bought a Blade 100L 16x19....it's nice but it feels really stiff.

    Just received my CX200 yesterday. I was quite surprised and pleased to see that it was slightly over spec in the balance department. It balanced at exactly 33cm with strings so 5mm more towards the head and the weight was spot on at 322. I also bought a leather grip and some tungsten anticipating it might be under spec. I guess I won''t be using the tungsten but maybe just the leather grip to bring the balance back towards the grip again.
    Would you touch it or leave it as is?

    key differences, and why are you choosing one over the other?

    • @RacketsRunnersVancouver

      The CX is more stable and controlled than the Blade. The Blade is quicker and more spin-friendly. Then the Extreme Tour is a totally different racket. Way more spin/power, way less flat control and a different, less traditional feel.

    CX200 OS
    Hello guys I hope you can help me. I got the racket (2024 Dunlop Cx 200 OS)and it seemed OK and then I got strings put on it. Yonex 125.
    I noticed there is a very tiny sweet spot right in the middle if it doesn't hit that then the ball just kind of makes my hand hurt and the ball just pretty much dies. The guy that put the strings on supposedly put it smack right in the middle pressure of the recommended setting. my wrist has been hurting for two weeks now. I doubt the guy put the strings on incorrectly he is a veteran at this so what is going on? I know the Head Tis6 is not a pro racket but I've been playing with that one instead now because the sweet spot is pretty much all of the string area and I don't have to work that much for the ball to bounce and shoot off like a rocket and my wrist hurts less! Should I sell the Dunlop and try for another or is there a string set up that should be done for this racket? I really would hate to have to sell it and lose money. anyone else have this problem? And if I should try another racket please let me know which ones you guys recommend. I really love brackets that are 107 size head or bigger and that feel light like the Dunlop and tis6 but I need something powerful maybe a medium power. Thanx!

    • @RacketsRunnersVancouver
      @RacketsRunnersVancouver  5 місяців тому

      Honestly, if you're happy with your Ti.S6 then no other racket will really compare for you. You can try to get used to the CX200 OS but I think you should go back to the tried and true!

      @@RacketsRunnersVancouver I noticed it's the Dunlop swing weight it's too much for my wrist so I need rackets with swing weights around 305 or 310 if they are going to be rackets that weigh about 310. Also the Dunlop doesn't have that great of a sweet spot 1/3 of the racket at the top just creates dead balls and shakes the racket. No matter what tension I put the strings at. Right now they are at 48 and it is still bad. Yeah the tis6 is good but I don't want a racket that stiff and with a beam that thick. I like to slice a lot and it tends to get in the way a lot at certain angles. Both rackets have the same swing weight but the TIS6 is such a light racket that you don't feel it for some reason. Probably has something to do with the balance
