I believe this is now the third tier, correct? My first question is whether the third tier should also be ready by the end of the year, based on the schedule. Additionally, is there a fourth tier planned, and if so, is it on the current schedule?
Hi, all those beams, struts, etc. are the basis of the two VIP rings and then above them the third tier. All of them will grow vertically on what you see in the vid.
The coming back scheduled for late december 2024 (next game is by the end of january 2025) will use the 1st and 2nd tier of the original structure built in 1957. The 1957 Camp Nou had a capacity of 100.000 pax, 55K seating, 45K standing. With some reforms and modern security and confort, it is expected to open at some 65 Kpax
Thanks for your comment! Yes, you're right-what you’re seeing in the video is indeed the third tier. Based on the current schedule and the accelerated 24-hour work shifts, the third tier is expected to be ready by the end of the year, as planned. As for a fourth tier, there isn't one planned in the current design. The focus now is on completing the three tiers and finalizing the interior and exterior enhancements to ensure the stadium is ready for use within the projected timelines. Stay tuned for more updates as the construction progresses!
@@goatsports10_7 Actually the third tier won't be finished this year, it's expected to be during next year. If I am not mistaken the plan is to have at least its structure ready for next summer, to start building the roof. Season 2025-2026 should start with the structure of the roof done. This new third tier is not needed at all at the end of this year to reopen the stadium partially, it does not even touch at any point the old first and second tiers, and there is still a bunch to do, take into account that when finished it will be almost 2,5 times higher than what it is now.
