Hey guys! As I mentioned in this video, there will be 2 other week in the life of a PE associate videos coming out later in Jan / Feb covering what life is like in the 3 different phases of a PE deal (which you can learn more about here - ua-cam.com/video/ONGj7Xq3roE/v-deo.html&ab_channel=rareliquid). The 2nd phase is the busiest and most intense so that will be a good one to watch. Also, three things I mentioned in the vid in case you're interested: [1] Sign up for my 10 best tips on how to break into banking - FREE banking recruiting newsletter - tinyurl.com/rareliquid-banking [2] Join my community for breaking into banking - skool.com/rareliquid/ [3] Wharton / Wall Street Prep PE Certificate Program (use code RARELIQUID for up to $500 off) - secure.enroll.wharton.wallstreetprep.com/referral/fkx0rrss/s2yqD1GUkwps4u5h Hope you enjoyed the vid!
Step 1: Get a Patagonia vest Step 2: Buy an equinox membership you’ll never use Step 3: Get another Patagonia vest because all your coworkers have the first one you got. Congrats! You’re a now a finance bro.
Startup content would be cool to see on the channel. How selling startups to PE firms works, the process of securing VC funding, a guide to services offered by consulting/banking firms to startups, etc. Edit: Additionally, a video on luxury watches for each stage of your career in consulting/finance would be funny.
Ben, this is a big question I have in my mind... Think about it, when aiming to become a CEO or an MD in an investment bank (with sufficient experience and other qualifications like MBA), does the first degree they completed have an impact? The reason I'm asking this is that most CEOs of investment banks have been economics majors and other majors like STEM and art too, and none of them seem to have been finance majors. Why is that? Can't finance graduates become CEOs in investment banking? Is there a better positive demand of these majors than finance?
The timelines in this video assume the PE firm and the seniors are highly organised and efficient, which is often not the case. In real life, juniors often waste lots of time performing tasks that lead nowhere and spend hours just waiting on feedback from seniors but then must do another turn of the work product immediately, no matter the time of day. Also, any substantive calls with lawyers, auditors and sell side advisors are almost always led by somebody at VP level or above; associates rarely take the lead (unless it's a regular weekly update type call for ongoing projects where the associate just takes notes of what's happened in the project).
From $10,000 to $50,000 that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me. now I have enough to pay my bills and take care of my family❤
Hello, how did you achieve such biweekly returns? I'm a newbie and I've lost a lot of money investing on my own. Please can you advise on how to go about this?
@@RubyRosay-k7q I've followed many traders over the years, but none have been as consistently accurate as Mr Mark hutchinson... He's truly in an inspiration to us all kudos to him✌️✌️

there aren’t that many pe analyst positions since that would be right after college but i’d say pretty similar in terms of what you work on but more of supporting the associate vs running the deals
Thanks to You Mate, I have realistic expectations for this bullrun. Got into crypto early this year and I have truly learned a lot from you about cycles, crypto and markets as a whole. Now I know that all assets/markets are heavily tied to eachother and global economy has very high impact on Crypto. Thats why I am very cautious about when traditional markets top and how this affects Bitcoin and altcoins. If i havent discovered your channel I would have blindly holding instead of engaging the market........ I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin. in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Ray F Johnson Crypto, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.
@rareliquid I have done my bba and mba in investment management from a decent university in the uk . I am a completely fresher don't have work ex. To become a hedge fund portfolio manager in uk ,do I really need to do cfa ,is it mandatory? Please reply 🙏 if not what I can do to skill up amd learn ?
One for looking at financials, one for the softwares he does his work on, and the other for web browsers so he can browse UA-cam and news to distract him from the financials and work he’s doing.
Can you also explain how you analyse the risks and competitve position/advantage in PE. I feel like that its the most difficult part but I might be wrong. You can also reply to my message if you want so, it would be helpful 👍

As Jim Simons says, "you can teach a physicist finance, but you can't teach a finance person physics"

Hi Ben, would a week in the life of a PE Associate be similar to that of a PE Analyst?
