Walking the Ridgeway Day 7 : Combe Hill to Ivinghoe Beacon

- My last day on the Ridgeway . Weather started breezy and threatening with rain , but coming off Combe Hill I was greeted with lots of orchids , bringing a smile to my face . I walked through Wendover and on up on to the Chiltern Hills towards Tring . Probably the worst part of the whole path , leaving Tring Station and trying to find the path on the main road , with a hidden bend in the road. Once I found the path , I took the wrong path . Had to turn round and check my map . Happy I was going the right way , I walked upwards towards Ivinghoe Hills and Beacon , dark rain clouds overhead threatening me like some sort of apocalyptic event
