Walking the Ridgeway Day 6 : Leuknor to Combe Hill

With the M40 behind me I am now in the Chilton Hills , the initial walk to Chinnor is quite flat , but then I find myself going up and down a bit . At this point my map and myself get confused with which path to follow and I found myself missing a turn and walking along a B road before Princes Risborough. Just by some pomp pomp type thistle flowers I bump in to a Scout Leader friend who lives locally who joined me for the rest of the walk , he was full of local stories and histories of the the area . We walk through the Chequers estate and then on to Combe Hill .

Only 1 mistake on the whole walk is pretty acceptable. Give yourself a pat on the back Lisa. Digging the wild strawberries - a lovely treat. Another good section. Mark
