Just ordered a set for my rig, have ran duratracs and trail hogs and cooper rugged treks and some off brand challenger as well… all decent in snow but horrible on the ice, looking forward to running a dedicated winter ice tire 👌🏽 thanks for the video and waiting on the updated video cheers
Martensville has been slacking the last few years on the road cleaning. So you are lucky. I love watching your channel as I recognize everywhere you are driving lol.
Another great video. I’m currently running a set of duratracs wranglers on my 06. They measure out to almost 34.5” and have been decent in snow and slippery roads here in BC. I normally turn my tuner down if it’s slippery out which helps not spinning everywhere.
Finally another video! Every time I get I get a ride back from school we pass your truck and I wonder everytime when the new video is coming out! Love it!
I ran these all last winter. I been driving highway to Fort mac and everyone knows that road can get icy and snowy. I'll say i felt comfortable on that road with these. Dedicated winter tires now
I have a set of Roadcruza RA1100 on my suv. For a knockoff K02 they handle the deep snow and ice really well. The last snow fall we had that dumped 6 inches over night they did really well. They are an Australian tire brand. Thor tire out of Edmonton shipped them to Saskatoon for $450 for the set of 4.
I've been running Atturo Trail Blade M/T 37x13.3x22 tires in Wyoming and have had no issues in snow. Everyone else slides all over the roads and i roll through with ease. I don't know that I could afford 2 sets of 37" tires with the prices these days lol
Those are super nice tires! I think they will work really good in the snow! I would like to get a set , same size but for 17 inch wheels! I really love Your 3rd Gen! Keep up the great work and stay warm! 👍
I have heard nothing but good things about these tires and know a lot of guys running them so I bought a set of 35x12.5x20 for my 1 ton. For the last 3 years I ran Artic Claw studded tires in 35 but couldn’t find them when I needed to change this year.
Nice vid! I love me some snow tires. Are you sure the passenger side tires are mounted in the right direction? I would think the passenger side tire would be shooting the snow away from the truck but it appears you have them with the grooves going the other direction. I could be wrong though?
Thinking about studding my tires as well. I’m in upstate NY where it snows here and there for a solid couple months. I run my 20x12.50 on 35’s for 10 months out of the year and then stock rims with 35-in snow tires during the crappy months. You think it’s worth studding the snow tires?
thanks for finding and sharing these tires. I am seriously considering buying a 2024 F150 Raptor with the 37 performance package. The 37's come on a 17" wheel. Do you know if those real snow tires you have there, or if there are any others, that are 37's on a 17" wheel? Thanks. I could just get the normal 35's, and maybe I'd have more snow tire choices, but I really want the 37, I just need to know there are at least one or two real snow tire choices. I would likely not get them studded though.
Lol I remember using the car wash to get the big snow of my truck since it was lifted too high to reach the roof what mine you at I used to work at most of them in fort Mac at one point or another
Have you seen my truck? It's a 2nd gen dodge ram 1500 v8 with the tow mirrors out and has a grill gard. Haha to me for first vehicle I'd say it's a good truck for first.
I have husky liners, they are cheap and do the trick but if you want something that looks better and have some more money to spend iron4k fabrication makes some sick ones. They even have clear ones. Trigger industries makes nice ones too. Both Canadian companies you can check out on instagram 👊🏻
@@darkirondiesel if you talk to him. Ask him if the Amazon diy kits are any good. Or if you have any info on em that would be great. I'm fighting a tire balance issue on my winters
im stuck on 37s cooper sst pros, there ok but typical mud tire there not great at all especially in -20 -30, hockey pucks. But the look comes with a price, wish they made 37 duratracs in 17s id pick them up
@@darkirondiesel i think ill be going to the toyo mts here next, you can see these venoms working when you take off, id be spinning like crazy on that and have to almost bog it out to get the traction lol.

Smart Man! Dedicated winter tires protect precious cargo! Only live once.

Was your tire setup studded?
@braydonmccallum807 Yes. But like he said other people had issues with them. Guess I just got a good set
I’ve been running Falken AT3W 37’s. They’re awesome in the snow and ice!
Great video. The tires look awesome.
Finally a Venom Ice Hunters review...i've been looking, mostly saw Terra Hunters reviews...good video as usual
Thank you! I’ll do another one once I get some miles on them.
Love the channel man! Great content

Been a while, been waiting for a vid, and that’s crazy how easy those tires stop
Sorry to keep you waiting my guy
@@darkirondiesel is that a 467 vgt or is is smaller, it sounds insane

I bought a set of these for my 350, haven't actually put 'em on yet 😂 next winter 👍🏼
Might give these a go one year living in northern bc the roads are kinda shit some places
DAMN MAN! I MISSED YOU.
Haha thanks bro
Welcome back!!

Great choice. Any price?? More Canadians have to swap from studded mud tires. I feel the difference in stopping

Just got a set of 35 studded going on in a week. Hoping there decent.
Thats good winter tires are softer thats why they also last less
Oof she didn’t like that lol! I thought you fell off the planet bro! Good to see ya make a video! 👌🏻
Just needed a brake but I’m back!

Haha right on. I’m at a potash mine just outside of Saskatoon
I am very surprised I thought the other tires would be way better
Let us know how you make out with them thanks for sharing
Nice truck man! What engine break did you go with?
It’s the bd diesel howler kit. Vgt turbo
What kind of rims are you running on the winter tires?
We just throw a couple bars of BBS and if that’s not enough just add some more .
Bags of BBS they work great and are cheap !

Ya man it’s a dope first truck
What's the verdict on these? Worth it over a good A/T?
Any word on tunes for the 22 HO ??
What brand are your lights?
How did they do in snow 8 inches deep or so?
I really like your mudflaps. Could you tell me where to get them
Husky liners!
👍💪
Post more please
What are those mud flaps?
Say they were rated for light duty trucks will you get any issues running those tires on a heavy duty ?
I probably wouldn’t. I’d run at least an 8 ply on a diesel
@@darkirondiesel arnt those tires light dirty tires that your running ?
A little bit of weight will help a ton
Where did you get the front mudflaps?
I just got them from my local parts supplier, they are called husky liners
Any mud flaps recommendations??

Watching this in Arizona where its still 70 degrees.......
Jealous
Where did you get those mud flaps from?!
Husky liners
Can you post a link please for the beads that you use
I’m not sure buddy the tire shop in town did it! All balancing beads should pretty well be the same though
