I think the lead organ might sound a little too high pitched? Would also be awesome if it were possible to incorporate the bongos from the original (especially given how great YM2612 bongos sound in general). Otherwise really love this!!
Thanks for the comment. As I had already responded in another comment, my idea was not to be so committed to the original version, as this FM version of mine will be used in a very specific situation in a project. Really one of the most striking features of this theme are the bongos and it would be easy to keep them in the song, but I had restrictions regarding the file size, due to space limitations of the game's ROM for which this song will be destined. More samples would greatly compromise these limits. I don't make versions without taking into account the limitations of the projects and that the music is processed by the real hardware. That's why I chose to change between FM and DAC modes on the sixth channel. Furthermore, this was more of a study regarding the varied and simultaneous use of FM6 than anything else. As for the organ, I purposely changed it to an octave higher, as well as adding the third note of the triad, since its original harmonization is good based on intervals of just two notes. Who knows, maybe in the future I will make new versions of SOTN themes thinking more about the original version and not for any game that is being made with restrictions (because this game's soundtrack really is wonderful), but in general I don't mind I worry about doing the original version in OPN2, but my version. Maybe you didn't read the description or the other comments. Thanks again for commenting and I'm sorry about my English.

Holy fuck this slaps
In fact, I configured the synthesis of this instrument to sound something similar to a Synth Bass or Fretless Bass. Still, thanks for your comment.
😅😅😅 The language barrier got me lol. I mean that this cover is really really good
Haha... he probably thought you meant something about Slap Bass.
Edmo, when a song "slaps" it means it sounds really good. 🙂
Muito show, maestro!
