DAVE'S DAY | LONDON TO BARROW | FOOTAGE FROM THE A590 | BBC BREAKFAST B ROLL

Daves Day - Saturday 8th June, 2024 over 40,000 riders descended on Barrow as the birth place of the great Dave Myers well known TV chef and the other half of the Hairy Bikers! Si King led the journey up through from the south to the mighty north west.
The footage shows the front of the procession coming up Lindale Hill into the Lake District and on towards Barrow. This is made just a memory to Dave Myers but also we may never see this amount of riders through Cumbria again. I hope you enjoy the watch! Some of the footage has been used today 10th June by BBC Breakfast to report on the day.

Bikers hairy and otherwise rode for Dave. Brilliant . Wish work didn't keep me here in Dublin . As someone who lost my mother to cancer I would have gone to Barrow like a shot. To support Si, Lilliana, and all Daves friends and family.
