BIKING THE OTTAWA VALLEY RECREATIONAL TRAIL : ALMONTE TO SMITH FALLS.

This video will take the viewer on my final leg of the Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail which I started in Petawawa earlier this year. Today we will travel the final section of this trail from Almonte to Smith Falls ,Ontario where it ends. We will travel through scenic Carleton Place and over the Mississippi River . The video also provides riding tips for bikers on this trail.

I have cycled all the trail you have shown except I wasn’t aware of the town of Petawawa trails.I really enjoyed the videos they allowed me to shared my experiences with family and friends. I’m looking forward to seeing if I can find the missing Petawawa trail adventure.

The best trail in Petawawa is the Millennium trail which parallels the Petawawa River on the east side of the bridge and there is a great extension of the Algonquin Trail across the Petawawa River into the Base which is very scenic

@@LarryWarden I visited that bridge last year I had not known that trail existed before that day and did no know that it went further.

I hate that they banned motorcycles. They are lighter, quieter, and smaller thaan atvs and side by sides, yet I always get dirty looks on the trail. At least I have license to operate my vehicle.
