How To Manually Update Sky+HD Box To Latest Software Version

In this video I show you how to update the Sky+ HD Box System Software. Press and hold the backup button on your Sky box which will be located on the front panel. Switch your Sky box back on at the mains while still holding down the backup button. Continue to press and hold the backup button for up to 30 seconds until you see all four lights on the front panel of your Sky box turn on.

When you press back up on your box is the sky box on standby first and is your power cable out of box when you press the back up and for how long

@@dannylisney3518 woah this comment is old, i have a sky Q now (not worth it sucks) from what i remember i never really unplugged or switched it off only sometimes i do that and when i did it would update automatically, also the newer updates for the Sky HD really aren’t that good, even from 3 years ago i never really liked the new sky updates

funny how dates on tv change !! time 3:11pm date sat 22/02 when he explains what to do ...when he checks if the update worked // check time & date on tv ( 2:11pm date 26/05/ that's a very long 13min :) con man for sure
