Unrelated question: how do you think i should prepare a painted curb? Should i rub brick the edge and use concrete sealer or just spray it with laquer? Does it even need rub bricking? I stumbled upon some really beautiful yellow and red curbs and i dont want to mess them up because its pretty much like finding gold for me. Ive only prepped raw concrete and the painted ones ive seen always get smashed up and full of chunks super quick, dunno if its just crap concrete or because they didnt get any protection. Cheers and can you do a video on hurricanes? Glad i found this channel, its cool to see people skating curbs in australia.

@@eshayhombre cheers for the comment and question.
I’d have to say, if the curbs are in good condition and the paint isn’t ’non-slip safety paint’ - lacquer and wax will be fine.
I’ve been thinking about doing an episode a month of answering questions like this so stay tuned.
I’m currently leading up to a hurricane episode after we get through the fundamentals curb tricks - won’t be long.
Thanks for the interest too. Very much appreciated.

I think that's a nollie boardslide. A lipslide would be when you pop the tail and lift the tail over the obstacle

@@Matrix2458 thanks for the comment and sorry for correcting your correction, but as I understand it; a lipslide (or boardslide) isn’t defined by the trick in or whether you lift the tail or nose first, but rather on where your back truck is during the slide.
A boardslide involves your back truck staying on the side of the obstacle that you approach the trick from, and a lipslide has your back truck on the opposite side of your approach to the obstacle.

@@TheSoreLosersShow No worries, nollie lipslide then? I'm looking for a tutorial for popping my tail and lifting it over the obstacle, which is usually how people do lipslides

@@Matrix2458 yeah cool, there’s a few ways of getting in to a lipslide so I’ll shoot an alternate entry for that, and maybe a few other curb tricks and put it up soon. Cheers for the feedback.✌️
