- The Shelby GT is Shelby American's way to bring the performance tradition to more people. On the outside you will get a unique hood, wheels and front fascia.On the inside you will be able to add your own personal touch with certain modifications. The only muscle car of the three is the Challenger
The Mustang and Camaro have more in common with the BMW 4-Series, Lexus RC, Audi A5 etc than they do with the Challenger
@@joecool9739 i agree...but you could still consider those muscles cars, even though they are geared more for track than they use to be.they still have the small body with long front end and big horse power engines. Always what I considered a muscle cars. Just with better suspensions

As with past Shelby GTs. the mission isn't extra power, which can't be used on most streets anyway, but HANDLING. This SGT will out corner any Mustang.

Man, that's very nice! I had a Mustang several years ago but for various reasons let it get away. I sure hope to fix that in the future. Thanks for a great video, Joe! If you were going to daily drive a Stang year-round, dealing with a little bit of snow occasionally (but not a ton), what would your pick be?

I TOTALLY love EVERYTHING about that car!!! And I totally agree with the chrome wheels!!! Don’t like the blacked out wheels or certain cars it fits but rather have the chrome!!

Some will argue that the price is too high without any additional performance, but I'd make the case that they're adding a decent amount of things and giving you the Shelby name after the car already left the Ford factories completed in GT form. Shelby does a REALLY nice job making these look great. That hood is just killer.

I have a couple zonks for this. Since it's mostly cosmetic, I think the Shelby in the grille should be color matching to the car like the brake calipers. I also think the Shelby that's stamped into the wheel should have a little color, maybe flat black, just to make it stand out.
I like it. The price isn't bad. But I'd stick with that killer Shelby GT350. Raiti's GT350 not only has a legendary racer's name on it, but the Shelby GT350 itself was a legend...and still lives...in Raiti's garage!!!😃

Thank you for another great video! To answer your question. No. I don't see the draw. It has an appearance of a modified GT. GT350 used is a better option on so many levels. In defense to Shelby in regards to your 'zonk' on the front grille...just because it's not fully opened doesn't mean it's not functional. Air management is key to high performance vehicles. Yes, too much is not good either. Cheers and thanks again!
What are your thoughts on the performance going to a 275 and 305 tire width compared to the 255 /275 performance pack setups?

That is a very tough question!
Well, the LT1 is about 40 percent cheaper and it would run right with this Shelby, so you have to decide how much that Shelby badge is worth to you. Both are great cars, but this Shelby is drop-dead gorgeous. The Mustang is considered a better everyday driver if that matters.
9 n 1/2 more years till retirement, this is my dream. Can't wait to send my 20 to become official Shelby GT. I'm definitely doing Supercharger package as well.

Great looking Mustang and I agree those chrome rims look fantastic and yes. The black rims are getting old. My only issue is the price. I'm guessing with a. Supercharger you at or above the GT500 price. I like the special touches, but you're paying for a package meaning stickers and a few body mods with a base GT Coyote. If I'm looking to spend around $60,000 for the Shelby GT. I would go with the Mach I. As always. Great review.

That's the perfect setup. I know that If I had a car with 700 h.p. it would only be a matter of time that my license would be pulled, or I'd total it...I still want a v8 muscle car with a manual that looks great and this does.

Have you ever reviewed the old Shelby GT, I've seen that in a tv show called Bullrun.
Now that the Mach1 is out with the Tremec, wonder if Shelby American will build a GT with the Tremec with this color scheme??? Orange in the interior is friggin awesome!

Yeah, Shelby. The C8 is a remarkable car for the money, but unless you are concerned about max track performance, which you are not, the Mustang is a better-looking car in IMHO. I personally would stick with this one that Joe just reviewed. I don't know what to do with all of that gt500 supercharged HP on public roads, but I guess it is good to know it's there. :)

GREAT REVIEW. The steering wheel should have a COBRA not a PONY as this is a SHELBY GT and not a MUSTANG GT. They have Shelby everywhere else so why not the steering wheel?
