Epic laps David. I think this video has sealed the deal on me wanting an Exige. Where can I read about the information/spec on your car please? I must say all the different engine configs on these cars confuse me at the moment! I see some cars have 250+ bhp, but then I read that the gearbox cannot handle such power? Would appreciate some advice from a veteran if possible :).
Hi Tom, thanks for the comments. Mine is just an n/a with an exhaust manifold and TRD intake. It’s about 200 hp. The gearbox is fine up to 260bhp but people tend to get issues with power higher than that. Mine has different ratios and final drive in to make it shorter. Will also make it stronger as they are updated but not really needed on my car. Hope that helps
I read on pistonHeads that you have a 2bular back box and 4-2-1 header. - Is the back box 7” diameter? - Are you running stock or aftermarket catalyser? - Do you know how much noise (dB) the system makes? Planing to change the exhaust on my car :-)
Hi there. It’s an 8 inch diameter back box. The Cat is the HJS one supplied by 2ubular and on their website. The noise is about 96-98db static I think. I have never not been allowed on any track with it. The header makes a huge difference to performance. My car is also mapped which helps a little
@@DavidM3Exige Thanks for reply! Incredibly well driven! One last question. How is the exhaust on the highway with steady-throttle? Much noise? Looks like I need to call Jim :-)
@@aleksandardamcevski4126 it’s nice and quiet driving around. Gets louder under load, so if you are at a steady speed on the highway you don’t really hear it 👍
Looking quick as ever

Standard gear ratios?
No Phil, a close ratio set and a different final drive. Geared to 138mph vs 205mph stock
@@DavidM3Exige i thought so. Where were they from/what are they? regards
@@eastleycabs Kaz short ration gearset and Jubu final drive. Can’t remember where I got them, internet somewhere!
