My fan makes epic mechanical noises. I opened the laptop to clean it but it barely had any dust. After I cleaned it the sounds continued. (the sounds are definitely from the fan and not any other mechanical part - I've confirmed this). My feeling is that my laptop frame has been warped after months of carrying it around in my bag which may have caused it to get crushed by books. So its possible part of the laptop is pushing against the fan and not letting it work properly. I'm usually able to get it to work properly, without noise, but this is after some light bending of the keyboard frame. (very very light with just a few fingers). Occasionally after typing on the keyboard and resting my hands on the keyboard, the sound can start again. I'm not sure if this can be fixed. I'm thinking of replacing the fan with a different model which may not be as affected by the warped laptop, or maybe even buying the same model and hoping that it's more structurally sound. Perhaps the frame of my current fan is also a little bent. Anyone experienced this or have some suggestions?
easiest way of getting the keyboard out is to push a thin flat headscrewdriver against the keyboard upper retaining bolt of after removing the 2 screws, this pushes the edge of the keyboard bezel up.

To make it work again ,can anyone confirm that I can buy laptop casing of either of V5 571 or F5 571 model and I could fit my hardware there? Is there as well a difference if I get a case from E5 575 or V5 575 or F5 575 models? I need to be sure before buying those spare repair casing. oh was it at the top right or top left? One of mine broke as well. The screw got caught on something and wouldn't come out so I pretty much had to rip it out which killed some plastic bits. It's not too important though. As long as the rest are screwed in

mine too, after dropping it fan hitting its casing and making a nasty noise, I think the fix is to replace the fan, they only £7 on ebay
