i couldn't get the door to move the rest was OK but the piston refuses to move so I have to settle on a button and animations I can't even find the thing where a button brings up a thing on your watch for a code

If you entered the code it in the wrong order press the "Reset Button" and then enter the password again.

No if you make 2 identical doors and wire them both (they need to be separated) to the animation gizmo you can animate both of them how ever you want without being stuck together (highly recommend doing it on the same key frame)

For the lights you would use a light bulb or a point light and for the sounds you would use the sound effects (SFX) chip.
