This WORKS!!!! THANK-YOU!!! We have tried underwater flex seal, gorilla products , nothing stopped the leak, it just got worse. We used the shoe goo and a tarp patch and no more leak!!! So thankful I watched your repair!!! We had to patch an intex pool ring. And the wd-40 did an awesome job removing the gobs of flex seal glue left over from taking the tape off. And bonus- no damage to the pool ring!

I just want to thank you for saving my pool and summer. I have one of those pools with the inflatable ring... I also have a new black lab puppy. Needless to say, puppy punctured the ring and splash... pool water gone. I tried the flex-tape, not once, twice but three times. Worked great until sun beat down on it and the adhesive "melted" and splash again. I watched your video and went out and got the Shoe-goo. I did 3 layers (just to be on safe side) over 3 days (with it deflated). Well, it's been about a week now, with hot NC sun beating down on it and it is holding up wonderfully! THANK YOU!!!!!!

You.have.saved.my.LIFE! I tried everything! Gorilla tape worked for a while but melted in 90+ heat. Gorilla glue, rubber cement, bike patches ALL failed. The piece of tarp and shoe goo worked instantly, I'm currently filling up my patched up pool and about jump in! Thank you SOOOO much!!!

Used an old tube of e6000 on our lake towables and it worked like a charm. Dabbed some, spread with wet thumb, put a piece of duck tape over, then sealed that with more. Let sit for 3 days, then used them on the lake all week and it held perfect. Thank you!!

Omg, thank you so much. I don't know why I didn't check UA-cam years ago. I have been throwing out and replacing inflatable pools for years because the repair patches that they recommend are useless. After unpacking last years pool and finding a tiny hole I was about to throw it out when I thought someone out in the world must have a solution. It was quite challenging to find this product in Australia, but once I did the miracle happened. Thank you once again!

This is the video that keeps on giving! All my wife did this whole week was tell everyone how she was going to sit in the back yard in her inflatable pool and relax. Well, I got the pool out of the garage and caught it on the wood fence and tore a hole about the size of a single piece of cooked rice. ARGH! I got the Shoe Goo from CVS and Duct Tape from the dollar store and went to work. The hole kept bubbling and blowing a hole in the goo and I had no tarp. So I glopped it on and shoved it into to hole and slapped the tape on and glopped the goo all over that and another piece of tape and more goo! I was desperate, you see. But in the end, SAVED! It freakin worked!! Thanks so much man. My marriage is preserved!!!

Thank you, this video has saved my butt on so many inflatables it's not even funny. Actually, I've only used it on a shoe once, and that was about 5 inflatables later haha. I'd like to add for the others, don't get lazy like me and over inflate to locate a leak then try to plug it with that higher pressure, it will make a bubble through the Shoe goo and make the patch ineffective, duct tape or not. Also, I've had 50/50 success in immediate use after patching, which still says a lot about how impressive it is. If you wait 2 days it will be as cured as the older patches in the video. Even used it on a 2 inch diameter hole on a bouncy castle, using the tarp example, now it's stronger than the original material!

Dude! This is the single most important video on UA-cam! I really wish I could send you 20, no, 1000 dollars right now. I was suffering through tons of diy solutions to our leaking pool here at the end of summer. Mostly all good, reasonable ideas. Nothing worked 100% but, you know, I was resigned to fussing with this leak till the end. My pain was less than everybody’s general happiness. I happened to have shoe goo hanging around from a 2014 issue with my wife paddock boots. Sure enough, it was till good. I slathered it on to our little leak and problem solved! I especially like the extra tip on how to deal with larger holes. Truly, If I could send you some cash for this tip I totally would! We’ve been enjoying our end-of-season pool for the entire weekend. 2019! F-ing magic! Thanks again.

So i put my pool up today and after filling it I noticed a small leak near the bottom. Tried shoe goo with no results, pressure was to much. Then thought about what you said about using part of a tarp. Slathered a piece with shoe goo went from the other side (inside) and the pressure caused the hole to seal. Great stuff, who needs a $20 underwater patch kit. Thanks.

The E6800 is amazing. Basically the same thing as Shoe Goo just UV rated. I have a link in the video description as it's not the easiest to find locally.

you can take patches of rotten fabric and worn rubber and actually make shoes out of it :)

Thanks will try this on a hard to reach contour area of my dinghy. I just can't patch that area as it is not flat. I'll try this, I think it'll work. Duck tape on top is genius!

shoe goo is a very useful product - starting with gym shoes and have found many uses since. -though does it set/cure if under water vs dry pool?

+Carl Spackler Shoe goo is the duck tape of glue. It's amazing what it can fix.
