- Hi Guys! So I'm back after a little hiatus, and today's video is all thanks to my wonderful cosplay winner Isabelle! Isabelle won my cosplay competition at Supanova this year with her amazing cosplay of Meredith Stannard from Dragon Age 2. This photoshoot was a part of her prize for winning my competition, and you guys are lucky enough to come along for the ride!

I have also used this experience to film a little 'how to' for new photographers, who want to get into some cosplay photography or even shoots in general. My tips are mostly about lighting, but also some practical things and a heartfelt speech at the end. I hope you enjoy this video and learn something!

Thank you so much for this video. I got the chance to work as a photographer for half a year in something like an event park. I had no clue about photography but wirking there was really easy. Same light, same location and same poses with every costumer. But in a few days there is a convention and I will take the photos for my cosplay group and if I feel confident I like to ask some other cosplayer to train my skill. I am a bit nervous but your video helps a lot. Talking about light and what you can get out of one location and that you don't have to think about 100 poses... it helps a lot. So thank you so much again! :D

It looks like at least for this video... you like to add a lot of background and some half body shots. Any preference to one? Or should you include full body for the costume?
