We had a wood cooking stove when I was a kid my mom would stick her hand in Texas oven to test the temp. She would adjust the heat by stocking the fire and adjusting the damper. She got it right on every time she also turned her baking regularly so it baked evenly. When it comes to wood stoves gages arnt
    always accurate.

So that temperature gauge on the door is not going to read the actual temperature inside the oven? I have been trying for days to get the oven to temperature by using the gauge on the door and an internal thermometer. It never seems to get above 250 degrees.

Hi! Great video! Do you think that at some point Elmira might incorporate a reservoir tank to insert in the far right warming space, and place an additional setting for an additional oven rack? Or, maybe the engineers can create another stove model as Heartland and Stanley Waterford, are now no longer competitors? Thanks again great video. It's a super stove.

Thank you for your input. That is a great idea, as a water reservoir is a very handy option to have on your wood cook stove. I will pass your thoughts along, and be sure to update you if Elmira produces a water reservoir cookstove.

Is it suitable for an external kitchen? I want to put a gazebo with a grill and one of these stoves, eather Elmira or JA Roby

It could be used if it was under a covered area. However, something to keep in mind is that the cooktop is subject to rust from humidity. Typically for outdoor kitchens I recommend stoves with a stainless, porcelain, or glass cook top.
