    I'm an older retired guy who started gaming late in life. Your videos have helped me understand the game much, much better. I've been able to solo quite a few dungeons (some on veteran mode), VMA and a bunch of world bosses (finally soloed that nasty Gargoyle in Rivenspire just last week). Anyway, thanks for the detail and care you put into your work!

    Starting a new character by having someone send you a nice weapon and a XP potion 100-150% and stay in tutorial area! Within 30 minutes you’ll be rank 10 by just doing a route of quick spawning enemy.
    Level 10, get a AP potion (50%) and head to Cyrodiil to get Alliance skill line to get continuous attack passive (30% Mount speed) then just put points toward speed.
    I got a ton more!

    You can get all the armor types unlocked in the introduction area. After leaving the combat training area, you will see a golem beating on a door. Kill the golem, get the lockpick out of the jar on the floor and open the door. Inside is an armory with all sets of armor and all types of weapons.

    You hit The Prime Directive of ESO... DON'T RUSH! Unlike "traditional" MMOs, dialogue in ESO is more than fluff; it's important... Do not skip through it... It doesn't hurt that it's excellently written, either. A deliberate, thorough pace through ESO will yield the most enjoyable experience....

      Yeah. I try to do that too but it is hard not to rush when your class is changing every 3 months or so...

    As Always, valuable stuff. Wish I had seen this 14 characters ago. Still, after viewing other leveling videos you had more points to learn here and I greatly appreciate it. You are definitely one of my go to sources on what to do playing ESO. Between you and Hack The Minotaur I am covered on the Meat and Potatoes - all the others are the desert tray items. Respect - One Vet to another.

    Hi, Great video as allways 🙂
    Just honorable mention: I am used to mix Publick Dungeons with RND - random normal dungeons, using finder. Sometimes with my guildies, sometimes with strangers. It usualy means 1-2 levels and 1 skill point for the quest. Just to spice things up a little bit 🙂.
    Thanks again for simple and understundable guides. Most of creators either don´t say why or explain simple things for half an hour.
    You explain why you do your choices but go straight to the point - easy to understand logic behind - hats off to you.
    I am with the game for a while but there is always something to learn. And I feel like I am always trying to level some new characters 🙂 so this guide is awsome.
    Great job!

    Everyone always says they hated doing the Psjiic Order Time Rifts but I actually loved doing them. The NPC interactions were really funny.
    I get that it could be tedious for people just wanting to unlock the Skills but it's an mmoRPG, and the RPG is super important in ESO.

    Hi first thanks for another great vid and keep up the good work you have been of great help.
    And second we don't need to use gold to get the armor and weapons skill lines because in the new tutorial and the old one to we can unlock all weapon and armor skill lines by using the armors and weapons that are around in there.

    When levelling to 50 I just do questing. I pick a zone I haven't completed yet and do all quests, side quests and achievements. Typically just doing that gets me to 50. It's the only time when I actually get to enjoy the quests, the stories and lore of the zone before I put on real gear and activate my CP points.

  • @marktazz4521
    @marktazz4521 2 роки тому +1

    As important as Psijiic Order is Dark Brotherhood. Starting that unlocks the Blade of Woe... A single-shot kill talent that is useful everywhere... if you can be sneaky... For example, when I'm a lowbie soloing a dungeon, sometimes it's difficult to kill X number of enemies... but I can do X-1 enemies with relative ease... so I can sneak up and one-shot one guy before his friends even notice me... Plus, I can use 1-shots to level-up my other skills...
    Another important tip is to NOT to skip the tutorial... FOR EVERY CHARACTER! The mobs are easier to kill... also, instead of skipping the tutorial, I usually play around in the tutorial area until I'm at least level 5... This way, when I go into the world, I'm a couple levels above all the hacks who skipped the tutorial. I can therefore do all the quests that the lowbies start out with that much quicker...
    30:14 I've been preachin everything you said for ~8 years.... so nobody heard nuthin' here, first....😂🤣😂🤣😂

    • @lukasmasarik854
      @lukasmasarik854 2 роки тому +2

      Plus you don´t have to buy weapons and armor when you do the tutorial - everything is there. So you can unlock every wepon and armour skill line on Balfiera and not to worry about it when you reach main land.

    • @DC-oo4bq
      @DC-oo4bq 2 роки тому +1

      @@lukasmasarik854 Glad you mentioned this; I always spend time on the tutorial island to unlock all these right away before leaving - it's free there. :)

  • @avatar19822
    @avatar19822 2 роки тому +1

    4:58 The problem with that is that you have to equip a full suit of heavy or medium or light armor to take full advantage of those passives. You couldn't wear a full suit of light armor and still get the passives of heavy and medium. Me being a mage healer, I wear all light armor to maximize my benefits but I don't get the passive bonuses of heavy or medium. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm still learning ESO.

    • @hamoodyman9239
      @hamoodyman9239 2 роки тому +2

      I’m not sure when but they reworked it. You only need to have on a single piece for either the ability or passive skills. I have all 7 Light like you but I recently picked up one heavy piece so I can get 2% health from juggernaut

    • @avatar19822
      @avatar19822 2 роки тому +1

      @@hamoodyman9239 That's good to know. Thanks. So I can have 5 light and then 1 heavy and 1 medium and I can get all the passives of all armor types? Obviously I would get more from Light since I'm wearing more of it.

    I want to rush, these videogames get fun once you hit endgame, taking 100 hours going slow to get to endgame is what burns me out, and it's impossible to find a video of people like myself that get bored fast, taking my time is the exact opposite of what I need.

    I don't think I understand how to properly how to build a character's gear set, this is what gear I'm using as a magicka nightblade.
    Front: Inferno Staff of a Mother's Sorrow
    Back: Argonian Muck Minder of a Mother's Sorrow
    Neck: Necklace of a Mother's Sorrow
    Ring1: Ring of a Mother's Sorrow
    Ring2: Ring of the Pale Order
    Chest: Spinner's Robe
    Arms: Spinner's Gloves
    Legs: Spinner's Breeches
    Waist: Spinner's Sash
    Feet: Spinner's Shoes
    Head: Maw of the Infernal Mask
    Shoulders: Maw of the Infernal's Arm Cops

    • @ArkAngelRonin
      @ArkAngelRonin 2 роки тому +1

      So, that look like a Solo build for your Magicka Nightblade. It's a good setup. However, because of your Pale Order Ring, you won't be able to get your 5-piece bonus from your Mother's Sorrow. One way that people do with a Mythic build, including me, is to replace your Head and Shoulder piece with a Mother's Sorrow piece. This means you want to seek out a Monster Set with a beneficial 1-Piece bonus. Overall, your setup is in the step in the right direction.

    Combat is perfect and I'll never go back to a tab targeting game because of ESO. I can overlook the hideous graphics but I only wish for one thing. I want better hair that animates as you move. Hair has been a deal breaker for me in many MMOs and every time I look at my character I'm disappointed so stick a helmet on their mop head. This is my only Christmas wish for 2023. Can someone contact the devs and make it happen? Lost Ark and Black desert ruined hair for me and I want my favorite MMO to at least have some decent hair. Old video but wanted to share.

    You didn't note that they hate their customers, unless you never speak up on the forums and inherently love everything they do!
    Well, hate is a bit too strong, "don't respect" is far better.
    That is tragic because the game can be enjoyable and the questing can be enjoyable, even after going through the same zone dozens (literally) of times).
    Not fixing bugs for years and not adding many widely requested quality of life improvements, Making your account really only be a single platform and zone (NA and EU require duplicate Crown purchases, for example), let alone needing to buy Crowns and subs on PS4 and XBOX separately.
    Yes, they make more money that way, but it indicates we are just profit units, not valuable players.
    Great to play if you want to try things for a while and the tips here are great. But know that it is much harder to make a long-term home here.

You would think given this is for the best passive you would have explained that better. Now i dont know how to get continious attack because of this video i skipped tutorial. Been sat for 4 hours doing all of this stuff because you go so damn fast that i have to rewind constantly. Anyway anyone got any idea how i get continuous attack if i skipped the tutorial? I quit ESO like 4yrs ago after almost 1000hrs. The endless grind gets boring really fast. No armor sets after 160 so once you get there, you are done. Spamming dolmens gets boring really fast too. I stopped when max lvl was like 810 or something. I got up to like lvl 650 or so if I remember, but I haven’t been back since. It’s just a boring game & the grind is endless…..
