- A horseshoe walk heading up and along the ridge to the summits of Ben Mór Coigach and Sgùrr an Fhìdhleir. We were rewarded with fantastic 360 degree views. Great care had to be taken at times in view of the fact I had an excitable spaniel with me although she did herself proud and managed the scrambles just fine. 🐶

Best holiday ever staying at Achiltibue in June 2019, the assynt & Coigach areas are breathtaking- bringing back great memories 😊

I've always preferred doing it from east to west and scrambling over the narrowish Garbh Choireachan ridge then dropping down to Achiltibuie. Good video. Thanks.

Linda, What a great day, this route is on my "to do again" list, along with Suilvan. Suilvan is easier if you just do the summit from the bealach.

Great vlog Linda and it just so happens we're heading up to that campsite in Tuesday for a 6 day stay in the area
It’s a beautiful area. Take away fish & chips from the bar across from the campsite are fab. Enjoy 😉

@@DunkfaeOotnAbootWiUs it was straightforward coming down or going up the fiddler, you don’t need to go along the ridge. 👍

It’s the access road to the transmitter mast. Road all the way to the mast then a short climb to the summit on a hill path. 👍
What a super video, Linda! You’re a brave girl taking on that hill along with wee Brora, whose constant panting was the soundtrack to your film! She’s such a game wee dog and lovely company for you on your adventures. The views were just breathtaking from this hill and the hill itself was amazing with all the different rock formations up neat the summit. Thank you. I have the Garmin GPSMap 66S, well used now but still works well. I like it as you can transfer GPX routes directly via Bluetooth from the Garmin Explore app on your phone. 👍
