I said this before I just want to say this now. I mean this in a positive way and I hope this helps even one person. My wife passed away at the age of 44. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and I'm not saying that because of what recently happened. I am married to her forever. I was not a good husband in regards to appreciating her as much as I should have. I just wanted to say be more than the sum of your parts. Learn and grow to be kind and patient. Remember marriage is work every day and the little patient attention can be everything. Jen my love I don't know what happens after we die but either way I know we will be together. I love you chicken butt. I wish all of you absolute joy and peace. You deserve it. We all deserve it.

Too often people become blinded by all the distractions in life (the difficulties, the past, all the transgressions etc) that they don’t mind or nurture what is in front of them until it is no longer. There’s this saying I live by that goes “give people their flowers while they’re alive”. putting flowers on someone’s grave after they’ve passed is a wonderful gesture, but is much more powerful when it’s done while they’re still around and can appreciate it fully. Too often people get stuck in their ways until it becomes all they know how to be. Sometimes people know they should change, but don’t meet those intentions with actions. And we all know that regret is a painfully large pill to swallow. I know her loss is felt deeply, but I’m sure her presence (although it’s taken a different form now) is ever present. Thanks Sara - I think we are getting "downloads" of information that will help us get to the end of the path we are on. Things that are obvious to us are not being seen or believed at all by some others, and they will want us to go in a different direction that matches their values. We realise that we will have to sever ties with people whose mindset and values do not match our future expectations, and while this may mean losing old friends and colleagues, we know it is the right thing to do. We will be meeting many new friends who share our values and desires for happiness. We are entering a new beginning.

I always wondered how some people are so driven and able to achieve so much. It can't simply be discipline. Life is too messy for that to be the only needed ingredient.
